La agradable cara de lo inesperado 💜 (Es-En)

Un abrazo para los amigos de la bolckchain, desde esta #Greenzone que siempre nos acoge.
Les cuento que ayer estaba contando mis ahorros, y no superaban los 10 mil, cosa que no es mucho en mi país si tienes en cuenta que un file de huevo cuesta 3 mil. Ya había invertido en algunos productos para mis pasteles del día de San Valentín pero como se avecina una crisis, dentro de una crisis que ha durado décadas, pues quería comprar algunas cosillas más como chocolate que acá es más caro que el oro.
Pues acomodando mis dos únicas carteras me encontré un billete, luego otro bulto y salté de alegría cuando conté 3500 pesos.

Lo asumí como un regalo, algo que con una mano oculta me lo resguardó ahí hasta que más lo necesitara, conozco a duendes como @maylink que me ponen detalles como estos en mi cartera, pero haciendo memoria estos los tenía desde noviembre que quise adquirir unas sandalias y como las pagué on line, pues ahí quedó.

Encontrar algo agradable es una de esas pequeñas alegrías que descolocan por completo la rutina. Meterse la mano en el bolsillo de una chaqueta que no usas desde meses antes, o rebuscar en el fondo de un bolso cambiado hace semanas, y tocar, entre llaves y papeles, el tacto inconfundible de un billete. Ese instante se transforma, en una fracción de segundo, en una chispa de pura felicidad.

No es el valor lo que más me importa, sino el hallazgo en sí, es un regalo que te hace tu yo del pasado, un pequeño acto de generosidad premiando tu olvido y alma buena. Es dinero que, en la mente, ya estaba gastado o, sencillamente, olvidado. Por eso se siente como un obsequio, un plus a nuestra economía. La sensación es la de un triunfo sobre el exceso de orden, un gesto que te devuelve la fe en lo que llamamos suerte.

Estos billetes se convierte en algo más que moneda, son la certeza de que debo hacer el bien y hacer sonreir a alguien con un capricho mínimo pero que le de felicidad.

Por ello me dispuse a hacer un pastel para desalluno, por supuesto que lo compartiría con mi familia, pero antes quise calentar el alma de esta anciana que vive un poco a la vera de Dios, no importa que hizo en el pasado, pero siempre que puedo le traigo el café de la tarde que tanto gusta. Muchas de las veces es lo único que bebe en horas.

Y no acostumbro a hacer fotos de estos acontecimientos, solo quería mostrarles cuan felices somos con lo inesperado y los pequeños detalles.

Retribuir un bien recibido, especialmente hacia quien tiene menos, no es un acto de caridad impersonal, sino la culminación de un ciclo virtuoso. No se trata de saldar una deuda, sino de honrar una conexión. Es la semilla de una bondad, que uno elige conscientemente regar para que florezca en otro terreno.

Ver esa felicidad brotar en un rostro humilde es el verdadero pago, infinitamente más valioso que cualquier bien material intercambiado. No es una sonrisa de cortesía, sino una luz que nace de los ojos, una sorpresa genuina que desdibuja por un instante las huellas del cansancio. Es la emoción pura de sentirse visto, valorado y recordado.

En ese intercambio, uno recibe una lección profunda, la mayor riqueza no está en tener, está en la gratitud, esta tiene el poder mágico de duplicar la dicha. La felicidad del otro se refleja instantáneamente en el propio pecho, recordándonos que, en el tejido humano, dar y recibir son, en esencia, el mismo hilo. Es en ese rostro iluminado donde uno redescubre el significado más auténtico de la palabra prosperidad.

The pleasant face of the unexpected 💜

I’ll tell you—yesterday I was counting my savings, and they didn’t even reach 10,000, which isn’t much in my country when you consider that a filet of eggs costs 3,000. I had already invested in some ingredients for my Valentine's Day cakes, but since another crisis is looming within a crisis that has lasted decades, I wanted to buy a few more little things like chocolate, which here is more expensive than gold.

Well, while organizing my only two wallets, I found one bill, then another stash, and I jumped for joy when I counted 3,500 pesos.

I took it as a gift—something that a hidden hand had kept there for me until I needed it most. I know elves like @maylink who leave little surprises like this in my wallet, but thinking back, I’ve had these since November when I wanted to buy some sandals and paid online, so they stayed there.

Finding something pleasant is one of those little joys that completely disrupt your routine. Reaching into the pocket of a jacket you haven’t worn in months, or rummaging through the bottom of a bag you switched weeks ago, and touching—among keys and papers—the unmistakable feel of a bill. That instant transforms, in a split second, into a spark of pure happiness.

It’s not the value that matters most to me, but the discovery itself. It’s a gift from your past self, a small act of generosity rewarding your forgetfulness and good soul. It’s money that, in your mind, was already spent or simply forgotten. That’s why it feels like a present, a bonus to our finances. The sensation is one of triumph over excessive order, a gesture that restores your faith in what we call luck.

These bills become more than currency—they’re the certainty that I must do good and make someone smile with a small treat that brings them happiness.

So I decided to bake a cake for breakfast. Of course, I would share it with my family, but first, I wanted to warm the heart of this elderly woman who lives a bit on the margins, close to God. It doesn’t matter what she did in the past—whenever I can, I bring her the afternoon coffee she loves so much. Often, it’s the only thing she drinks for hours.

And I don’t usually take photos of these moments—I just wanted to show you how happy we are with the unexpected and the small details.

Giving back a received kindness, especially to someone who has less, isn’t an impersonal act of charity—it’s the culmination of a virtuous cycle. It’s not about settling a debt, but honoring a connection. It’s the seed of goodness that one consciously chooses to water so it may bloom in another’s life.

Seeing that happiness blossom on a humble face is the real reward, infinitely more valuable than any material exchange. It’s not a polite smile but a light born in the eyes, a genuine surprise that briefly smooths the traces of weariness. It’s the pure emotion of feeling seen, valued, and remembered.

In that exchange, you receive a profound lesson: the greatest wealth isn’t in having—it lies in gratitude, which has the magical power of doubling joy. The happiness of another instantly reflects in your own heart, reminding us that in the fabric of humanity, giving and receiving are, at their core, the same thread. It’s in that illuminated face where one rediscovers the most authentic meaning of the word prosperity.
