Я думав, що вже повністю готовий до опалювального сезону. Чому б і ні?
Ще на початку літа дуже якісно почистив пічку від сажі, а декілька днів тому придбав дрова. Сиджу і тішусь, що все налаштовано, не страшні тепер морози.
Осінь в цьому році почалась рано і в будинку вже не дуже комфортно. І,подекуди, я розтоплюю пічку, щоб трохи прогріти хату і не тремтіти вечорами від холоду.
Спостерігаючи , як гарно горять дрова, тішусь з того,що не дарма трусив цю сажу, чистив пічку, що ще з літа приготувався до зими.
Але радів я не довго. Раптово, з невідомих причин , пічка почала диміти, та ще й так сильно, що довелось евакуювати родину на вулицю. Дочекався, поки догорять ті дрова, які встиг закинути в топку і почав думати, в чому ж причина. Єдине місце, до якого я не торкався, коли трусив сажу- димохід. Справа в тому, що його довжина близько 7 метрів. Покрівля будинку влаштована так, що піднятись на таку висоту, щоб прочистити димохід згори до низу, без спеціальних механізмів, неможливо, а навиків альпініста в мене нема. Ревізійних люків в цій трубі також немає. Напевно майстри, які це будували , думали, що цю пічку ніколи не будуть топити. Я вже реально почав виміряти скільки мені потрібно мотузки, які карабіни, страховки, щоб піднятись на покрівлю і прочистити димохід.

At the beginning of summer, I cleaned the stove very well from soot, and a few days ago I bought firewood. I sit and rejoice that everything is set up, the frosts are not terrible now.
Autumn started early this year and the house is no longer very comfortable. And, sometimes, I melt the stove to warm the house a little and not shiver in the evenings from the cold.
Watching how well the firewood burns, I am glad that it was not in vain that I shook off this soot, cleaned the stove, that I had been preparing for winter since the summer.
But I was not happy for long. Suddenly, for unknown reasons, the stove began to smoke, and so much so that the family had to be evacuated to the street. I waited until the firewood that I managed to throw into the furnace burned down and began to think about the reason. The only place I didn't touch when shaking was the soot exhaust. The fact is that its length is about 7 meters. The roof of the house is arranged in such a way that it is impossible to climb to such a height to clean the chimney from top to bottom without special mechanisms, and I do not have the skills of a climber. There are no inspection hatches in this pipe either. Probably, the craftsmen who built it thought that this stove would never be burned. I have already really started measuring how many ropes, carabiners, safety devices I need to get up on the roof and clean the chimney.
Але таки спрацювала інженерна думка в правильному напрямку. Вирішив на мансардному поверсі, в основі димового каналу витягнути одну цеглину і через цей отвір прочистити димоход і вгору і вниз. Думка виявилась правильною.
За півгодини, трохи попрацювавши молотком і зубилом, я отримав доступ до каналу.
Потім я виготовив йоршик для чистки. Для йоршика чудово підійшла пластикова пляшка.
But engineering thought worked in the right direction. I decided on the attic floor, at the base of the smoke channel, to pull out one brick and clean the chimney both up and down through this hole. The opinion turned out to be correct.
In half an hour, after a bit of work with a hammer and chisel, I gained access to the channel.
Then I made a cleaning brush. A plastic bottle was perfect for yorshik.
І власне, ще година часу пішло на те, щоб витрусити з димоходу сажу, а заодно ще раз перевірити всі інші канали. Потім я замурував отвір, який створив і все це знов паштукатурив. Залишилось лише знову вернути красу яка була до того- покласти кахель.
And in fact, it took another hour to shake the soot out of the chimney, and at the same time check all the other channels once more. Then I bricked up the hole I created and plastered it all over again. All that remains is to return the beauty that was there before - to lay the tile.
Ця неочікувана робота була виконана недаремно, пічка знову працює і забезпечує тепло і комфорт в будинку. Саме гірше в цьому, як і в іншій аналогічній роботі, довге приготування, а потім довгий ритуал прибирання сміття.
This unexpected work was done for a reason, the stove works again and provides warmth and comfort in the house. The worst thing about this, as in other similar work, is the long preparation and then the long ritual of cleaning up the garbage.
