Поки весь світ на карантині, і майже всі фестивалі скасовані, згадаємо кокой прекрасний пивний фестиваль проходить в Брюсселі (Belgian Beer Weekend).
Цей чудовий фестиваль, звичайно, не зрівняється з Октоберфест та й порівнювати їх не має сенсу, але має свої особливості і не втомлюється бути одним з найпопулярніших подій у Брюсселі і у всій Бельгій.
Організаторами вікенду є Асоціація пивоварів Бельгії та мерія Брюсселя.
Проводиться щорічно, в найперший вересневий вікенд, на Grand-Place, де збираються представники пивоварень зі всієї Бельгії - від найбільших до зовсім невеликих. На веселому святі діє особлива «валюта» - кришечки від пляшок вартістю 1 €. Ціна дегустаційної порції - 2-5 кришок. Вхід на фестиваль вільний.
Фестиваль починається з особливої церемонії нагородження-присвяти, яка проходить в будівлі ратуші. Церемонія присвячена не тільки відкриття фестивалю, на якій можна почути вітальні слова бургомістра Брюсселі і голови союзу пивоварів Бельгії, а й взяти участь у костюмованому обряді посвячення в «пивне братство».
Церемонія посвяти включає в себе підсумковий процес відбору гідних кандидатів за їх досягнення в області виробництва пива, його продажів на території Бельгії і просуванню бельгійської пивної культури за кордоном. «Посвяченим в братство» присвоюється звання Шевальє і вручає символічний орден.
Другий день свята починається парадом пивоварів. Він проходить на ошатних старовинних візках, возах для пивних бочок і фірмових вантажівки. Всю цю процесію можна спостерігати з ранку і до обіду. Підготовка і прикраса транспорту пивоварів для ходи проходить на Рибному ринку, розташованому на Дров'яний набережній.
Ну а третій день повністю можна посвітити найприємнішого, дегустації.

While the whole world is in quarantine, and almost all festivals have been canceled, let's remember when a wonderful beer festival takes place in Brussels (Belgian Beer Weekend).
This wonderful festival, of course, cannot be compared with Oktoberfest, and it makes no sense to compare them, but it has its own characteristics and does not get tired of being one of the most popular events in Brussels and throughout Belgium.
The weekend is organized by the Belgian Brewers Association and the Brussels City Hall.
It is held annually, on the very first weekend in September, at the Grand-Place, where representatives of breweries from all over Belgium - from the largest to the smallest - gather. There is a special “currency” at the merry holiday - bottle caps worth 1 €. The price of a tasting portion is 2-5 caps. The entrance to the festival is free.
The festival begins with a special dedication ceremony held at the town hall. The ceremony is dedicated not only to the opening of the festival, where you can hear the welcoming words of the burgomaster of Brussels and the chairman of the Belgian brewers' union, but also to take part in a costume rite of passage into the “beer brotherhood”.
The initiation ceremony includes the final process of selecting worthy candidates for their achievements in the field of beer production, its sales in Belgium and the promotion of Belgian beer culture abroad. "Initiated into the brotherhood" is awarded the title of Chevalier and awarded a symbolic order.
The second day of the holiday begins with a parade of brewers. It takes place in elegant vintage carts, beer keg carts and branded trucks. This whole procession can be observed from morning until lunchtime. Preparation and decoration of the brewers' transport for the procession takes place at the Fish Market, located on Drovyanoy Embankment.
Well, the third day can be completely devoted to the most pleasant, tastings!
