Привіт! Монета виготовлена до 25 річниці незалежності України й входить до набору з 4 пам'ятних монет. Також є монета зі срібла та золота з аналогічною назвою виготовлена у 2001 році. Її тираж 2 тисячі штук, а номінал 20 гривень.
5 гривень 2016 року виготовлена з нейзильберу. Всього виготовлено 50 тисяч штук. Вироби реалізувалися в буклетах. Розмір монети складає 35 мм, а вага — 16.54.
З 38 гривень у 2016 році вартість монети зросла до 450-600 гривень станом на початок грудня 2023 року.
Монета присвячена державі, яка в епоху середньовіччя займала важливе місце на території сучасної Європи. Київська Русь мала суттєвий політичний вплив протягом кількох століть. Й хоча у тій формі, якій вона існувала, держава припинила своє функціонування ще у 13 столітті, все одно Русь назавжди залишиться фундаментом української державності. Для допису “Серія “Відродження української державності”: Київська Русь, монета з нейзильберу, 2016 рік” використано дві світлини з офіційної сторінки національного фінансового регулятора України.
Реверс. У верхній частині викарбувана назва монети. В центральній частині нанесена мапа українських земель. На її тлі нанесено Тризуб, що використовувався Володимиром Великим.
Лицьова сторона. Герб України на аверсі монети з рифленим гуртом нанесено не у верхній частині, як зазвичай, а внизу. Номінал викарбувано у верхній частині. Зліва розташований лого монетного двору, а справа — рік введення в обіг (2016). Основну частину виробу займає орнамент з рослин, а вище — князівський вінець.

5 hryvnias of 2016 is made of nickel silver. A total of 50,000 pieces were produced. Products were sold in booklets. The size of the coin is 35 mm, and the weight is 16.54.
From 38 hryvnias in 2016, the value of the coin increased to 450-600 hryvnias as of the beginning of December 2023.
The coin is dedicated to the state, which in the Middle Ages occupied an important place in the territory of modern Europe. Kyivan Rus had significant political influence for several centuries. And although in the form in which it existed, the state ceased to function in the 13th century, all the same, Rus will forever remain the foundation of Ukrainian statehood. Front side. The coat of arms of Ukraine on the obverse of the coin with a fluted band is not in the upper part, as usual, but at the bottom. The denomination is engraved in the upper part. On the left is the mint logo, and on the right is the year of introduction (2016). The main part of the product is occupied by an ornament made of plants, and above it is a princely crown.
