The Winter Fairy Tale festival of ice and snow sculptures is currently taking place in my city. In terms of the number of figures, it became the largest in Russia. In a few days, the masters created more than 40 compositions on the Theater Square. This year, the theme of the festival is fairy tales.
Today I had the opportunity to see these sculptures with my own eyes. Indeed, they look impressive. I admire the masters who are engaged in these types of creativity. To create fairy-tale characters from a block of ice or snow, with the creating of small details - it's just a miracle. Especially ice sculptures look very impressive in the sun, and in the dark they are also highlighted in different colors.

В моем городе сейчас проходит фестиваль ледовых и снежных скульптур "Зимняя сказка". По количеству фигур он стал самым масштабным в России. За несколько дней мастера создали на Театральной площади более 40 композиций. В этом году тематика фестиваля - сказки.
Сегодня мне выдалась возможность увидеть эти скульптуры своими глазами. Действительно, выглядят впечатляюще. Я восхищаюсь мастерами, занимающимися данными видами творчества. Сотворить из глыбы льда или снега сказочных персонажей, с прорисовкой мелких деталей - это просто чудо. Особенно ледяные скульптуры выглядят очень эффектно на солнце, а в темное время еще и подсвечиваются разными цветами.

Thank you :) No. This is only the second time this festival has been held. I think that international carvers will be added in the next years. Especially when all borders with countries will be opened.
