One of the biggest mistakes of the 21st century was the investment of Western democracies in the economies of dictatorial countries, such as Russia or China. Investors started from a logical fallacy - "when they are full, they will become like us, democracies with a market economy."
It never happens like this - the communists who have eaten their fill begin to accumulate weapons in order to rob and destroy those who fed them.
