On Good Friday, my family always went to church to visit the Lord's tomb. My dad didn't eat anything that day. And I remember the special awe-inspiring atmosphere when we as children stood in long lines to the church to bow our heads before the Savior, who took death for the sins of all mankind ...
But humanity continues to sin ... Lent has been going on for two months in my Ukraine ... I recently visited a Turkish mosque. It was out of curiosity. And on the same day, Wednesday, I received terrible news - my husband, who is a volunteer in Ukraine - has not been in touch for several days. Wanted. They found a car ... They were not with their partner. Phones did not answer ... It was Holy Thursday ...
Страсний тиждень... Цей час мав особливо велике значення завжди в моїй сім'ї. Ми намагались поститись, більше роздумувати про страсті Христові.
В страсну п'ятницю моя сім'я завжди йшла відвідати гріб господній в церкву. Мій тато нічого не їв в цей день. І я пам'ятаю особливу трепетну атмосферу, коли ми в дитинстві стояли в великій черзі до церкви, щоб схилити голову перед Спасителем, який прийняв смерть за гріхи всього людства...
Але людство продовжує грішити... Страсний кривавий піст вже триває два місяці в моїй Україні... Нещодавно я зайшла в турецьку мечеть. Це було з цікавості. І в той же день в середу я отримала страшну звістку - мій чоловік, який є волонтером в Україні - вже кілька днів не виходить на зв'язок. Подали в розшук. Знайшли машину... Їх з партнером не було. Телефони не відповідали... Це був страсний четвер...
My imagination painted terrible pictures ... My husband was always different. He prayed a lot and at the same time he rebelled against injustice! It is made of contradictions, and we have not always been like-minded! We lived together for 20 years and we were really friends. But I did not support his views, which were revolutionary ... which were dangerous. The car was found near the SBU ...
And on Good Friday I went to the mosque again, I put on a handkerchief and sat under the dome of this Turkish temple, giving to the Lord my pain, and fear, and suffering for all the children killed, for all the murdered people in this terrible war ...
Моя уява малювала страшні картини... Мій чоловік завжди був інакшим. Він дуже багато молився і в той же час він бунтував проти несправедливості! Він створений з протиріч, і не завжди ми були однодумцями! Ми прожили 20 років разом, і ми були справді друзями. Але я не підтримувала його поглядів, які були та революційними... Які були небезпечними. Машину знайшли біля СБУ...
І ось в страсну п'ятницю я пішла знову в мечеть, я наділа хустку і сиділа під куполом цього турецького храму, віддаючи Господу свій біль, і страх, і страждання за всіх вбитих дітей, за всіх замордованих людей в цій страшній війні...
I asked the Lord to forgive us, Ukrainians and bless us ... I read in the Bible that the sins of ancestors can fall on children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren ... Up to the seventh generation !!! I have always believed in the law of cause and effect! But we are all imperfect people infected with the virus of sin ... The Bible teaches us to forgive and love our enemies! But how can you forgive and love those who are inhumans !!! How can we forgive those terrible children of Satan who came to our Earth in a human body and kill children, rape and kill !!! ???
How to stop this evil that has come to our land so many times and come again? !! Why???!!!
God is a just Judge! I believe that the time will come and God will fulfill what He has promised, and evil will be destroyed and all the offended will be comforted! Tomorrow is the Great Day. Thanks to the Resurrection of Christ, we have hope for eternal life. And I am proud of our courageous defenders, who, I am sure, by the Power of the Holy Spirit give a powerful rebuff to the forces of evil, knowing that the most sacred feat is to give one's life for one's neighbor!
I left the temple and learned that my husband was alive and well! I think that every woman now lives with the hope that her beloved husbands and sons will remain alive in this terrible war ... Faith and hope help us to stand in prayer for Ukraine!
Я просила Господа простити нас, українців і благословити нас... Я читала в Біблії про те, що гріхи предків можуть падати на дітей, внуків, правнуків... Аж до сьомого покоління!!! Я завжди вірила в закон причини - наслідку! Але ми всі є недосконалі, заражені вірусом гріха люди... Біблія нас вчить прощати та любити своїх ворогів! Але як можна простити і полюбити тих, хто є нелюдами!!! Як можна простити тих страшних дітей Сатани, які в людському тілі прийшли на нашу Землю і вбивають дітей, гвалтують та замордовують!!!???
Як зупинити це зло, яке вже стільки раз приходило на нашу землю і прийшло знову?!! Чому???!!!
Я віддавала помсту Богу, який є справедливий Суддя! Я вірю, що прийде час і Бог виконає те що обіцяв, і зло буде знищене і всі скривджені будуть утішені!
Завтра Великий День. Дякуючи Воскресінню Христа ми маємо надію на життя вічне. І я пишаюся нашими мужніми захисниками, які , я впевнена, Силою Духа святого дають потужний відсіч силам зла, знаючи що найбільш священним подвигом є віддати життя за ближнього свого!
Я вийшла з храму і дізналась, що мій чоловік живий і з ним все добре! Я думаю, що кожна жінка зараз живе з надією, що її кохані чоловіки і сини залишаться живими в цій страшній війні... Віра і надія допомагає нам стояти в молитві за Україну!

Christians eat beef and eggs. On the contrary, it is the main food in the Easter basket of most Ukrainians :) Maybe you have heard that there are vegans who do not eat meat and eggs? I imagine my return to Ukraine cleansed of ancestral sins and the prosperity of a bright future nation!

My husband is alive and I praise God, who is always with those who hope in him. We cannot understand and accept all the terrible things that are happening in the world right now! But we have faith in eternal life and a just judgment ...
