Позитивна сторона цієї війни - це вивільнення потужної мистецької енергії талановитих українців: художників, дизайнерів, музикантів, кіношників, блогерів та інших креативних сфер культурної складової української нації. Від багатьох пересічних громадян можемо почути ізбиті фрази: "не на часі", "краще пішов/пішла на фронт", "кому воно зараз треба..." і т.д. Але так кажуть ті, кого і в мирний час українська культура не цікавила від слова "зовсім".
The positive side of this war is the release of the powerful artistic energy of talented Ukrainians: artists, designers, musicians, filmmakers, bloggers and other creative spheres of the cultural component of the Ukrainian nation. From many ordinary citizens, we can hear hackneyed phrases: "it's not time", "it's better to go to the front", "who needs it now...", etc. But so say those who were not interested in Ukrainian culture even in peacetime.

Оскільки я також відношу себе до креативної сфери, я цілком і повністю усвідомлюю, яку внутрішню силу потрібно мати, щоб в умовах війни творити і знаходити нові форми і засоби втілення нових ідей. На жаль, мені особисто поки важко це дається. Творчий процес якщо і відбувається, то переважно "по накатаній" і часто через силу.
Since I also belong to the creative sphere, I am fully aware of the inner strength an artist must have in order to create and find new forms and means of implementing new ideas in the conditions of war. Unfortunately, it is still difficult for me personally. If the creative process takes place, it is mostly automatic and often by force.

Та мене неймовірно тішать роботи творчих людей, в т.ч. і в нашій спільноті. Але сьогодні хочі звернути вашу увагу на досить цікавий проект "Військово-польовий Арт" української художниці Олени Косінської (Olena Kosinska). Ще в 2017 році вона намалювала серію робіт на дерев'яних ящиках від боєприпасів, чим зуміла поєднати, здавалося б, непоєднувані явища. Але тим самим вона змогла надати духовного наповнення такому страшному явищу, як війна, зуміла показати заради чого воює українська армія і завдяки чому їй вдається триматись у цій боротьбі з переважаючим ворогом.
But I am incredibly pleased with the works of creative people, including and in our community. But today I want to draw your attention to a rather interesting project "Military Field Art" by the Ukrainian artist Olena Kosinska (Olena Kosinska). Back in 2017, she created a series of works painted on wooden ammunition boxes, which managed to combine seemingly incompatible phenomena. But by doing so, she was able to give spiritual meaning to such a terrible phenomenon as war, she was able to show what the Ukrainian army is fighting for and why it manages to hold on in this fight against the overwhelming enemy.

Після 2017 року Олена відійшла від цього напрямку, але з новим, більш кривавим витком цієї російсько-української війни в 2022 році її творчість вибухнула з новою силою, наповнившись новими емоціями та образами. Дивлячись на ці роботи я розумію хто мене захищає і кому я вдячний за те, що можу жити далі, в одночас український воїн-захисник подивившись на ці роботи зрозуміє заради чого він воює і кого захищає. В цьому і є неосяжна сила мистецтва.

After 2017, Olena moved away from this direction, but with the new, more bloody turn of this Russian-Ukrainian war in 2022, her creativity exploded with new force, filled with new emotions and images. Looking at these works, I understand who protects me and to whom I am grateful for the fact that I can live on, at the same time, a Ukrainian warrior-defender will understand what he is fighting for and who he is protecting after looking at these works. This is the immeasurable power of art.
