The results of the UN vote on whether Ukrainian President Zelenskyi can be allowed to address the UN General Assembly via video next week as an exception to the rules are interesting.
Conclusions:
- The Reds are Russia's allies in the new bipolar world that Moscow wants to build. More precisely, just debtors of the Kremlin.
- Many ambassadors of African countries, where there is no sign of voting at all, simply did not come to vote. They support China, but do not want to show it officially.
- China itself abstained. Previously supported Russia.
- Unexpectedly for many, India, Turkey, Serbia, Kazakhstan and even the junta of Myanmar, which Putin invites everywhere to his economic forums, voted in favor.
- I read a lot of comments from people from different countries about this vote on twitter and they do not understand at all why Russia still has the right to vote after Buchi and Izyum. ISIS has no such right. Hard to disagree.
