Привіт! У світі, звичайно, дуже багато прихильників криптовалют. Хтось є прихильником Ефіріуму, іншому подобається Hive, а третій не визнає нічого крім Біткоїна. Час розставить всі точки над І. Знаю, що серед українців немало людей користуються та цікавляться технологією блокчейн, торгівлею цифровими товарами та іншим. Але який відсоток населення багатомільйонної країни дійсно “в темі”?
Сьогодні прочитав публікацію про керівника української криптовалютної біржі WhiteBIT Володимира Носова. Він разом з представниками своєї компанії провів марафон. До речі WhiteBIT біржа з клієнтською аудиторією понад 2 мільйони, а щоденні об'єми торгів складають кілька мільярдів доларів. Ось тільки штаб-квартира знаходиться не в Києві, а в іншій країні.
У своєму виступі Носов говорив багато цікавого, починаючи від необхідності регулювання та закінчуючи прийняттям. Так ось, його компанія нещодавно провела соціологічне опитування та виявило, що понад 60% населення України не довіряють блокчейнам. І лише 5%-8% дійсно “в темі”, тобто розуміються на технології. Ось такі невтішні цифри через 15 років після запуску блокчейну Біткоїна і досить активного розвитку інфраструктури.
Близько місяця тому я писав про те, як мої знайомі сприймають технологію блокчейн. Нагадаю, що досить молоді люди асоціюють криптовалюти не з новою технологією, фінансовою свободою, зручністю, а, скоріше, з пірамідами. Також я припустив, що для прийняття технології блокчейн та формування нового фінансового світу потрібно покоління, хоча хотілося, щоб це відбулося трішки швидше.
Якщо опиратися на соціологічне опитування компанії Носова, то в Україні технологією блокчейн цікавиться та користується близько 2 мільйонів людей. Насправді це вже не так і мало, як для однієї країни, а у світі їх близько 200. Звичайно, в кожній країні свій показник користувачів блокчейнів. Та все ж можна усереднити та помножити 2 на 200. Вийде близько 400 мільйонів людей, які володіють цифровими активами, користуються ними, працюють в цій сфері тощо. Цю цифру можна збільшити на 100 мільйонів, а можна й зменшити. Мої примітивні розрахунки підтверджуються й даними криптовалютних бірж, інших аналітичних компаній. Та треба розуміти, що це дуже умовні цифри.

Do Ukrainians trust cryptocurrencies? How many people on the planet use cryptocurrencies?
Hello! There are, of course, many cryptocurrency supporters in the world. Someone is a fan of Ethereum, another likes Hive, and the third does not recognize anything but Bitcoin. Time will set the record straight. I know that many Ukrainians use and are interested in blockchain technology, digital goods trading, and other things. But what percentage of the population of a country of millions is really "in the know"?
Today, I read an article about the head of the Ukrainian cryptocurrency exchange WhiteBIT, Vladimir Nosov. He and his company's representatives held a marathon. By the way, WhiteBIT is an exchange with a client audience of more than 2 million, and daily trading volumes amount to several billion dollars. However, the headquarters is not in Kyiv but in another country.
In his speech, Nosov said a lot of interesting things, ranging from the need for regulation to adoption. So, his company recently conducted a sociological survey and found that more than 60% of the Ukrainian population does not trust blockchains. And only 5%-8% are really "in the know," meaning they understand the technology. These are the disappointing figures 15 years after the launch of the Bitcoin blockchain and the fairly active development of the infrastructure.
About a month ago, I wrote about how my friends perceive blockchain technology. Let me remind you that quite young people associate cryptocurrencies not with a new technology, financial freedom, convenience, but rather with pyramids. I also assumed that it would take a generation to adopt blockchain technology and form a new financial world, although I would like it to happen a little faster.
Based on a sociological survey by Nosov's company, about 2 million people in Ukraine are interested in and use blockchain technology. In fact, this is not so small for one country, and there are about 200 countries in the world. Of course, each country has its own rate of blockchain users. Still, we can average and multiply 2 by 200. We will get about 400 million people who own digital assets, use them, work in this field, etc. This figure can be increased by 100 million, or decreased. My primitive calculations are confirmed by data from cryptocurrency exchanges and other analytical companies. But you have to understand that these are very conditional figures.
