El fin de semana pasó un evento común cuando se trata de la crianza de los hijos: cambiar los dientes de leche.
El menor de mis hijos tenía sus dos dientes centrales superiores flojos y él estaba convencido que debía mudarlos porque estaba entusiasmado con la idea que el ratón de los dientes le dejaría dinero debajo de la almohada.
Era mucha su emoción, aunque se quejaba de los intentos fallidos de su papá al sacarle el diente. Pero eso no lo detenía, él estaba convencido que los mudaría.
El día sábado salió el primer diente, y el domingo el segundo.
Pero esto no es lo que quiero compartir con ustedes (aunque las fotos son chistosas) porque mi hijo parece un vampiro sin sus dientes
Lo que quiero significar con todo esto, es que los años pasan muy rápido, porque de hecho no recuerdo el proceso de cambio de dientes de mis hijos mayores, estoy clara que su papá es una gran ayuda porque él se ha encargado de esta actividad.
Pero no recuerdo en que momento cambiaron sus dientes, muelas, colmillos y obtuvieron esa sonrisa con dientes permanentes que hoy día tienen.
Eso me hizo valorar aun más lo acontecido con mi hijo menor.
El no tener sus dientes frontales me hizo reflexionar que una vez más el tiempo pasaría montando biclicleta en una bajada.
Pensé que en otro abrir y cerrar de ojos ya mi hijo menor sería un adolescente (como sus otros dos hermanos) y me mostraría su linda sonrisa con dientes permanentes.
Para mi es reconfortante que sus cuerpos estén creciendo y los procesos naturales se están dando.
Y así como sucede lo del cambio de dientes, también sucede que cada día se hacen más inteligentes y su léxico se llena de más palabras que me hacen sentir orgullo.
Ellos tienen mucho potencial y estoy seguro que llegarán muy lejos, donde ellos sueñen llegar.

The weekend passed a common event when it comes to parenting: changing baby teeth.
My youngest son had both of his upper middle teeth loose and he was convinced he should have them removed because he was excited by the idea that the toothy mouse would leave money under his pillow.
He was very excited, although he complained about his father's failed attempts to pull out his tooth. But that didn't stop him, he was convinced that he would move them.
On Saturday the first tooth came out, and on Sunday the second.
But this is not what I want to share with you (although the photos are funny) because my son looks like a vampire without his teeth.
What I mean by all this is that the years pass very quickly, because in fact I do not remember the process of changing my older children's teeth, I am clear that their father is a great help because he has been in charge of this activity.
But I don't remember when they changed their teeth, molars, fangs and got that smile with permanent teeth that they have today.
That made me value what happened with my youngest son even more.
Not having his front teeth made me reflect that once again the time would be spent riding a bike downhill.
I thought that in another blink of an eye my youngest son would be a teenager (like his other two brothers) and he would show me his beautiful smile with permanent teeth.
For me it is comforting that their bodies are growing and natural processes are taking place.
And just as the change of teeth happens, it also happens that every day they become more intelligent and their lexicon is filled with more words that make me feel proud.
They have a lot of potential and I am sure they will go very far, wherever they dream of going.

Ya que no recuerdas cuando cambiaron sus dientes tus hijos mayores, no cabe la posibilidad, de que jamás los cambiaran y tengan dientes eternos de leche... O que quizás no tengas hijos mayores.. Ja ja ja... Mentiras.
Tienes razón, el tiempo pasa, rápido, por eso hay que aprovechar al máximo todo con ellos.
Me encanta este chico sin dientes, espero el ratón Pérez le haya dejado muchos billetes, monedas, dulces y zanahorias, también lechuga y quizás un cambur.
