Compartir mis experiencias como mujer, madre y esposa hace que mi corazón se agrande al escribir, y me llena de tanta satisfacción porque se trata de un vínculo inquebrantable, como es la familia. Y todo lo que hacemos para disfrutar de esos momentos felices y que queremos recordar de forma emotiva, por eso hoy quiero compartir con vosotros un tema muy especial como fue el baby shower por la llegada de mi niña Saori. Como es sabido, el baby shower es una celebración para que los miembros de la familia compartan un momento agradable, siendo este el preámbulo donde se genera la pasión por la maternidad, no solo para la mamá sino también para todos los que te rodean, ellos también se sienten conmovidos y emocionados de que se acerque un nuevo miembro a la familia.

Sharing my experiences as a woman, mother and wife makes my heart grow bigger as I write, and fills me with so much satisfaction because it is about an unbreakable bond, as is family. And everything we do to enjoy those happy moments and that we want to remember in an emotional way, so today I want to share with you a very special topic as was the baby shower for the arrival of my baby girl Saori. As it is known, the baby shower is a celebration for family members to share a nice moment, being this the preamble where the passion for motherhood is generated, not only for the mom but also for all those around you, they also feel moved and excited that a new member is approaching the family.
Por ello, en muy poco tiempo mi familia y yo comenzamos a planificar este evento, muy familiar, económico pero con mucho amor. Siempre me ha gustado ser muy programada con todo lo que me propongo, y aunque hacer un baby shower no era un plan que tuviera en mente, porque necesitaba ahorrar, debido a que el año en que tuve a mi bebé la economía estaba muy apretada, mis amigos y familiares me dieron su apoyo para poder celebrarlo. En ese sentido, comencé a hacer una pequeña y poco exigente planificación de todo lo que sería la decoración, la comida y los juegos, así como el atuendo que llevaría para la ocasión. En cuanto a mi atuendo, llevé mi vestido de graduación, lo había usado el año anterior para ese entonces, ese vestido es parte de las mejores carreras que he tomado en la vida, siendo profesional y siendo mamá, sin saberlo el modelo del vestido era lo suficientemente amplio a pesar de que estaba embarazada de 38 semanas me quedaba muy bien. Con tantas semanas de embarazo no podía usar ningún tipo de tacón así que opté por mis tenis, y mis accesorios fueron los utilizados en mi boda, así que no hubo necesidad de hacer gastos excesivos, ya que lo importante era rodearme de amor y fuerza para todo el camino que se avecinaba.
So, in a very short time my family and I started planning this event, very family friendly, inexpensive but with a lot of love. I have always liked to be very scheduled with everything I propose, and although having a baby shower was not a plan I had in mind, because I needed to save, because the year I had my baby the economy was very tight, my friends and family gave me their support to be able to celebrate it. In that sense, I began to make a small and undemanding planning of everything that would be the decoration, food and games, as well as the outfit I would wear for the occasion. As for my attire, I wore my graduation dress, I had worn it the year before by that time, that dress is part of the best careers I have taken in life, being a professional and being a mom, unknowingly the dress model was roomy enough even though I was 38 weeks pregnant it fit me very well. With so many weeks pregnant I couldn't wear any type of heels so I opted for my tennis shoes, and my accessories were the ones used in my wedding, so there was no need to make excessive expenses, since the important thing was to surround myself with love and strength for all the road ahead.
A continuación, la decoración, para ello utilizamos materiales reciclados que guardaba de celebraciones anteriores, por lo que fue una temática sobre la naturaleza, con recortes de gomaespuma, elaboración en cartón de pequeños nidos, una jaula que combina con la ocasión, y un amplio abanico de colores con pájaros de diferentes especies, así como muchas flores, ya que el primer nombre de mi hija significa florecer, y es así, ella es como esa hermosa primavera que llegó a nuestras vidas. Se utilizaron cortinas decoradas con flores y se habilitó un espacio en el que los invitados podían dejar escritos sus deseos y bendiciones para el bebé que viene en camino.
Next, the decoration, for this we used recycled materials that I kept from previous celebrations, so it was a nature theme, with foam rubber cutouts, cardboard elaboration of small nests, a cage that matches the occasion, and a wide range of colors with birds of different species, as well as many flowers, since my daughter's first name means bloom, and that's right, she is like that beautiful spring that came into our lives. Curtains decorated with flowers were used and a space was set up where guests could leave written wishes and blessings for the baby on the way.
Por otro lado, para la comida, se prepararon algunos bocadillos dulces y salados, entre ellos: galletas, panecillos dulces, cupcakes. También, cremas para merendar de: berenjenas, ajos, atún y unas croquetas; así como una bebida bastante refrescante y saludable. Y por supuesto se preparó una tarta de vainilla para conmemorar el emotivo momento.
On the other hand, for the meal, some sweet and savory snacks were prepared, including: cookies, sweet rolls, cupcakes. Also, snack creams of: eggplant, garlic, tuna and some croquettes; as well as a quite refreshing and healthy drink. And of course a vanilla cake was prepared to commemorate the emotional moment.
En otro orden de ideas, se desarrollaron juegos muy divertidos, uno de los juegos consistía en que los invitados cortaran una cinta que pudiera rodear mi vientre, quien se acercara a los centímetros exactos era el ganador, otro juego divertido es el de amarrar un globo a la cintura de cada participante en la parte delantera y que pudieran inclinarse para amarrar las trenzas de sus zapatos, quien lo lograra en el menor tiempo posible era el ganador. Entre otras dinámicas que nos hacen vivir un rato agradable e inolvidable en familia.
In another order of ideas, very fun games were developed, one of the games consisted of the guests cutting a ribbon that could go around my belly, whoever got close to the exact centimeters was the winner, another fun game is to tie a balloon to the waist of each participant in the front and they could bend down to tie the braids of their shoes, whoever could do it in the shortest time possible was the winner. Among other dynamics that make us live a pleasant and unforgettable family time.
Otra etapa muy gratificante es la de destapar los regalos, me emocioné mucho por el esfuerzo de todos para que mi pequeña llegara al mundo rodeada de amor y de bonitos regalos que aún hoy conserva. El desenvolver cada regalo y mirar cada detalle del envoltorio así como su contenido fueron suficientes para que mi corazón se estrujara.
Another very gratifying stage is the unwrapping of the gifts, I was very excited by the effort of everyone so that my little girl came into the world surrounded by love and beautiful gifts that she still keeps today. Unwrapping each gift and looking at every detail of the wrapping as well as its contents were enough to make my heart squeeze.
Por tanto, una pequeña sesión de fotos con todas aquellas personas que mostraron su amor con su asistencia en este emocionante encuentro en el que se mezclan un sinfín de sentimientos hasta el punto de que las que no son madres desean serlo, y las que ya lo son, quieren revivir el momento. El embarazo es una etapa hermosa, te da calor y como mujer, aunque a veces nos sentimos frágiles, al mismo tiempo somos favorecidas por cuidar a ese hermoso ser que patea con mucha fuerza y quiere salir jajajaja.
