A very special greeting to all the mothers of this beautiful #Motherhood community where today I have the pleasure of publishing again and this time I come to tell you about a walk I took with my daughters to Castillo del Morro, which is located 12 km from the city of Santiago de Cuba on the southeastern coast, bathed by the waters of the Caribbean Sea which witnessed countless history that took place here.
We left very early in a car that had been assigned to my husband for work and I took the opportunity to take the girls for a walk and to see the Morro Castle, a place with a high historical value and very beautiful at the same time.Since as a mother I have the duty to teach my daughters about cultural, historical and social values, because everything is not learned at school
Un saludo muy especial para todas las madres de esta linda comunidad de #Motherhood donde hoy tengo el placer de publicar nuevamente y esta vez vengo a contarles un paseo que realice con mis hijas al Castillo del Morro, el cual se encuentra a 12 km de la ciudad de Santiago de Cuba en la costa del sureste, bañado por las aguas del mar Caribe las cuales fueron testigo de un sin número de historia que aquí tuvieron lugar.
Salimos muy temprano en un carro que le han asignado a mi esposo por el trabajo y aproveche la oportunidad para llevar a las niñas a pasear y a conocer el Castillo del Morro, un lugar con un alto valor histórico y muy lindo a la vez.ya que como madre tengo el deber de enseñar le a mis hijas sobre valores culturales, históricos y sociales, porque todo no se aprende en la escuela.
Al llegar nos encontramos con los creadores de Artex, con una linda exspocisión y venta de sus articulo que dan mucho colorido y resaltando mucho la cubanía en todas sus obras.

Continuamos caminando para llegar al castillo, y nos encontramos con el Faro del Morro, el cual se utiliza para guiar a los barcos y fue reconstruido al ser destruido en el bloqueo naval de 1898, pero no pudimos entrar por ser una zona militar.
Mis hijas no podían creer que estaban en frente del faro más alto de Cuba.
We continued walking to reach the castle, and we found the Morro Lighthouse, which is used to guide ships and was rebuilt when it was destroyed in the naval blockade of 1898, but we could not enter because it was a military zone.

Luego entramos a un Restaurante que está en el camino del Morro y el que te da la bienvenida es un esqueleto de corzario realizado de metal, muy bien diseñado y muy acorde a la atmosfera que se respira, el techo decorado con timones de barco y con redes del mar .
Contemplar tanta belleza y respirar el aire cargado del salitre del mar tiene un efecto mágico que nos hace desconectarnos por un instante de todo lo que está cargando nuestra mente.
Then we enter a Restaurant that is on the Morro road and the one that welcomes you is a corsair skeleton made of metal, very well designed and very in keeping with the atmosphere that is breathed, the ceiling decorated with ship rudders and with sea networks.
Contemplating so much beauty and breathing the air loaded with sea salt has a magical effect that makes us disconnect for a moment from everything that is loading our mind.
Finalmente llegamos a la fortaleza del Castillo del Morro San Pedro de la Cabaña, sus paredes amurralladas nos hace trasladar en el tiempo y revivir la época de los corsarios y piratas, mi niña leía con mucho detenimiento todas las murales que detallan episodios de aquella época, y al pasar por los soldaditos no se pudo detener y fue corriendo hacia ellos. Se sentía como una mariposita revoleteando que no sabe donde posarse.
Finally we arrived at the fortress of Castillo del Morro San Pedro de la Cabaña, its walled walls make us travel back in time and relive the era of corsairs and pirates, my daughter read very carefully all the murals that detail episodes from that time , and when he passed by the little soldiers he couldn't stop and ran towards them. She felt like a little butterfly fluttering around that doesn't know where to land.

Además de poder descubrir un mundo nuevo ya que solamente sabía de esta parte de la historia por los libros, pero caminar por el castillo, ver las armas y tantas cosas fue algo novedoso para ella y muy emocionante y yo me sentí más que feliz no solo por sacar a mis hijas a pasear, sino porque estuvieron en contacto directo con una parte de la historia de su país que tiene el alto honor de ser patrimonio de la humanidad por el alto valor histórico que tiene, además de salir de allí soñando e imaginando como eran los ataques de corsarios y piratas,por lo que fue un lindo paseo por la historia.

In addition to being able to discover a new world since I only knew about this part of history from books, but walking through the castle, seeing the weapons and so many things was something new for her and very exciting and I felt more than happy not only for taking my daughters for a walk, but because they were in direct contact with a part of the history of their country that has the high honor of being a world heritage site due to the high historical value it has, in addition to leaving there dreaming and imagining such as the attacks of corsairs and pirate, So it was a nice walk through history .
