Hola madres y padres, como les he comentado en otras publicaciones, mi hija Andrea es una artista, le encanta cantar y le apasionan los instrumentos musicales, pero además su creatividad se desborda al crear sus proyectos de manualidades como el tejido . Últimamente ha tenido interés por la cocina y me ha preguntado cuando le voy a enseñar a cocinar, ella tiene 10 años y estaba esperando que tuviera la altura suficiente para trabajar frente a la cocina.
Ayer amaneció con ganas de comer galletas y como esta es una preparación muy sencilla, pusimos mano a la obra. Busqué la receta de unas galletas de avena muy deliciosas y práctica para preparar y le explique como medir los ingredientes. La idea era que ella preparará las galletas desde el principio.
Los ingredientes para esta receta son pocos así que tuvo que medir harina de trigo, azúcar, avena en hojuelas y canela. Yo me encargué de la mantequilla.
Mientras estaba cremando la mantequilla y el azúcar, por un momento se sintió cansada y me dijo que le pesaba la batidora y quería que la ayudara. Claro que la ayudé.
Cuando descansó continuó con la preparación agregando el resto de los ingredientes.
Cuando agregó todos los ingredientes amasó la masa sobre el mesón de la cocina.
Estas galletas me encantan porque para darles forma solo hay que hacer unas minis arepas.
Los siguientes pasos de hornear y sacar del horno lo hice yo. No quería que por ninguna razón ocurriera un accidente, Andrea estaba consciente que era por su bienestar y ella tampoco se quería quemar.
Estaba tan contenta que invitó a su abuela a merendar con café y galletas de las que había preparado “ella sola” así dijo 😂. Le llevó tres galletas a su tía, merendamos nosotros y le guardo a su papá. En fin, las galletas 🍪 no duraron nada.
Pasamos una tarde estupenda, no puedo describir lo feliz que mi niña estaba “Su sonrisa lo dice todo” en todas las fotografías se ve que esta experiencia le encantó y estoy segura que de ahora en adelante sus proyectos también van a incluir la cocina.

She was so happy that she invited her grandmother over for a snack with coffee and cookies that she had made “all by herself” so she said 😂. She took three cookies to her aunt, we snacked and I saved her daddy. Anyway, the cookies 🍪 didn’t last at all.

Jajaja tienes razón aveces creemos que están muy pequeños para hacer ciertas cosas. Yo trato que ella colabore arreglando el cuarto, la ropa, ordenando la casa. Pero en la cocina tenía un poco de temor. Pero se portó muy bien.
