There are days she feels stressed out, but a cry from her little child sends a fresh burst of energy through her body.
She rises to the situation to listen, attend, and resolve the problem. She tries not to take sides but ensures peace prevails between siblings. She intervenes with much love to ensure safety and unity.
There is no written standard or manual for motherhood but they sure do the best with everything placed in their hands.
This week she could barely get a good night's sleep, but the peace that shuns the chaos is knowing her children are doing fine again.
It’s like her heart starts working better and life just got back from pause.
One way I release my bottled up emotions is to write what comes to mind.
Yes, I decided to commend and self-pat every mother holding everyone up.
A man once said: "mummy is for everyone because she knows everyone deeply."
And he was right.
A mother’s tale cannot tell it all. Her strength is sometimes shaky, but her faith and zeal are so strong.
They are often the last to sleep and the first to wake up to prepare them for school, remind them about the early morning flight, interview, or a job.
In their minds is an endless quest for perfection, orderliness and beauty.
They create a chore roster more than a food timetable, all in a bid to conquer dirt, fear, failure, and even generate support to keep the family afloat together.
With each passing day the chores increase, the laundry basket fills again, and the groceries soon run out. There stands a human being on duty 24/7, 365 days a year plus she nurses — some even dare till two years or more.
They carry their young in their body, heart, arms, and lips forever.
O my child, they rarely forget birthdays because it was also their birth thirst.
The mother wears many caps, but only few put feathers on them.
Here I am letting every mother know that you are capable, beautiful, and amazingly the best mother ever.
