🌈 Preschool Science Fair: Exploring the World of Textures! 🧤✨
Hello, friends! Today I want to share with you a recap of our recent Preschool Science Fair, themed “Magic or Science?”. This time, we focused on the sensory development of our youngest students through educational games created with recycled materials.
The main goal was to allow children to identify and distinguish various tactile sensations while having fun and learning colors and letters. Join us to see these creative activities!
The Texture Worm: 🐛
A colorful character where each segment of the body features a different texture (soft, smooth, rough, coarse, and hard), associated with vowels to also reinforce language skills.
The Sensory Die:🎲
A dynamic game where each side of the die invites the child to experience a different texture. It’s ideal for group activities where chance decides which texture to explore.
Texture Hands: ✋
Sheets with hand silhouettes containing materials like cotton, sandpaper, or mesh. Children compare sensations palm-to-palm, facilitating the recognition of opposites such as “soft vs. rough.”
The Texture Book: 📖
An individual, portable resource that compiles different materials (such as fabrics or felt), allowing children to turn the pages and discover a sensory world on each one.
Texture-Eating Monsters:** 👾 (This was the educational game I played with my son in the last video).
Some boxes decorated like monsters where children have to put objects inside or touch surfaces inside their “mouths.” It’s a playful way to overcome fear of the unknown and sort textures in a fun way.
We are very proud of the work done by the children and teachers, and of the unconditional support from the parents.

🌈 Feria de Ciencias Preescolar: ¡Explorando el Mundo de las Texturas! 🧤✨
¡Hola amigos ; Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un resumen de nuestra reciente Feria de Ciencias de Preescolar, bajo la temática ¿Magia o Ciencia?.En esta ocasión, nos enfocamos en el desarrollo sensorial de los más pequeños a través de juegos didácticos creados con material de provecho.
El objetivo principal fue permitir que los niños identifiquen y diferencien diversas sensaciones táctiles mientras se divierten y aprenden ,colores ,letras.¡Acompáñennos a ver estas creativas propuestas!
El Gusano de las Texturas: 🐛
Un colorido personaje donde cada segmento del cuerpo presenta una textura diferente (suave, liso, rugoso, áspero y duro), asociado a las vocales para reforzar también el área de lenguaje.
El Dado Sensorial:🎲
Un juego dinámico donde cada cara del dado invita al niño a experimentar un relieve distinto. Es ideal para actividades grupales donde el azar decide qué textura explorar.
Manitos de Texturas: ✋
Láminas con siluetas de manos que contienen materiales como algodón, lija o redes. Los niños comparan las sensaciones palma a palma, facilitando el reconocimiento de opuestos como "suave vs. áspero".
El Libro de las Texturas: 📖
Un recurso individual y portátil que recopila diferentes materiales (como telas o fieltros), permitiendo que el niño pase las páginas y descubra un mundo sensorial en cada una.
Monstruos Comelones de Texturas:** 👾(fue el juego didáctico que realice con mi hijo en el video pasado).
Unas cajas decoradas como monstruos donde los niños deben introducir objetos o tocar superficies dentro de sus "bocas". Es una forma lúdica de perder el miedo a lo desconocido y clasificar texturas de forma divertida.
Estamos muy orgullosos del trabajo realizado por los niños, las maestras y el apoyo incondicional de los representantes.

¡Que lindo proyecto! Los niños aprenden mucho mediante los juegos didácticos cuando estan en educación inicial y además se divierten en compañía de sus amiguitos.
