Mi hija comenzó a sentir malestar en el cuerpo, dolores y comenzó a tener fiebre 38° y 39°, al comienzo de la bajaba con antipiretico cada 4 horas, por que pensé que era un virus de los muchos que andan rondando por la ciudad.

Al tercer día se sentía mejor, no le había dado más fiebre, le hice un examen de sangre y la llevé al colegio, pero antes de la hora de salida la maestra llamo para que la buscara, ya que la niña se sentía muy mal, le volvió a dar fiebre, está vez más alta y le seguía doliendo el cuerpo, me decía que le dolía el cuello

Espere ese día a ver cómo evolucionaba, pero la fiebre ahora no cedia y seguía quejándose, así que decidí llevarla al médico, la Dra. revisó los exámenes de sangre que le hice el día anterior, pero sus valores estaban bien, por un lado me alivio saber que no era dengue.

La Dra. Me dijo que tenía una infección en oído y garganta y que también se le sentía flema en el pecho, le mando antibióticos y otras medicinas, llegamos a casa y ella seguía con mucho malestar y fiebre, le di el antibiótico pero ella no había comido bien por el mismo malestar, lo peor fue cuando le llegó la fiebre a 40° y yo no podía bajarla, le coloque pañitos de agua tibia todos el tiempo en la frente, axilas y pues, además del antipiretico y nada la bajaba yo estaba alarmada por que una fiebre no bajada a tiempo puede ocasionar problemas graves, como por ejemplo meningitis, yo no podía pararla sola para bañarla, mi esposo también estaba mal con otro virus que al final si era dengue, así que le quite toda la ropa y con un pañal de tela grande que le cubría el cuerpo, se lo coloque húmedo con agua tibia, también medias con agua tibia en los pies y en la frente también, cada minuto se lo quitaba y lo volvía a colocar y así fue que terminó mi angustia, la fiebre bajo como en 30 minutos, minutos largos de angustia y de pedirle a Dios que me ayudara a pensar y hacer lo correcto.

Luego que paso la fiebre comenzó a quejarse de un dolor abdominal, al parecer el antibiótico que es bastante fuerte le causó efecto en su estómago, La Dra le duplicó la dosis de protector gástrico, y poco a poco fue mejorando y su apetito regreso, ya en una semana de reposo estaba sana, mi recomendación es que el antibiótico deben tomarlo con comida y que no deben esperar a acudir al médico si ven algun malestar con fiebre o algo más, acudan a un especialista.

Horrible te entiendo, la ultima vez que le dio fiebre a mi hijo, le aplique crema, pañitos en todo el cuerpo la fiebre no le bajaba. le había dado medicamento y nada, gracias a Dios se le bajo con todas estas técnicas 😅 artesanales.
Si, es horrible lo que pasamos las madres en esas situaciones, afortunadamente Dios siempre está con nosotros 🙏
Hola amiga, la verdad no hay nada más angustiante para unos padres que ver a nuestros hijos enfermos... Yo por ejemplo, ni duermo y si es fiebre me pongo nerviosa porque son peligrosas...
