After long days with my little Juan Andrés sick the family took a little space to enjoy a little of the carnivals of my city; were days of late nights, days without sleep and without work, because the smallest of the house is sick with bronchitis, since last Wednesday began with strong episodes of cough and needs the care of mom and dad, episodes that became stronger at night, for this reason the world began to revolve around our little one.

Sin embargo el día lunes de carnaval, en mi ciudad se iba a realizar el desfile para dar el grito de carnaval, Matthias estaba muy emocionado con este evento y aunque Juan esta pequeño se emociona cuando su hermano dice que quiere ir algún sitio; ya Juan se encontraba mucho mejor de salud y el desfile seria a las 4:00 pm, decidimos ir todos al desfile, disfrazar a nuestros pequeños y distraernos un poco de los días difíciles.

La cita fue en una de las principales avenidas de ciudad, donde las calles estaban colmadas de muchas personas, mientras esperábamos Juan pidió comer tostones, en vista de que tenia días sin comer bien, fui a comprar un tostón tamaño familiar para compartir; poco a poco fueron llegando primas de mi esposa con sus pequeños y así hicimos un grupo muy ameno para disfrutar de las festividades.

Aunque fueron pocas las carrozas presentadas, estuvieron muy bonitas; las comparsas y los disfraces de los niños eran cada uno mejor que el otro; con la presencia de bandas musicales, algo que es muy común por esta zona, ya que cada caserío forma con los jóvenes de su región su propia banda y en fechas especiales vienen hasta la capital del municipio a deleitarnos con su música y bailes, es una de las cosas que mas me gusta y mis hijos también disfrutan mucho la música. Una de las bandas que más me gusto fue la formada por un profesor de mi ciudad con niños especiales, con discapacidades, al verlos y escucharlos tocar y bailar era inevitable sentirse emocionados.
Although there were few floats presented, they were very nice; the parades and the costumes of the children were each one better than the other; with the presence of musical bands, something that is very common in this area, since each village forms its own band with the youth of their region and on special dates they come to the capital of the municipality to delight us with their music and dances, it is one of the things that I like the most and my children also enjoy the music very much. One of the bands that I liked the most was the one formed by a teacher from my city with special children with disabilities, to see and hear them play and dance was inevitable to feel excited.
Las reinas con trajes muy llamativos y típicos de mi región, desde las mas pequeñas de la casa hasta las adolescentes se hicieron presentes en estas hermosas festividades; el desfile terminaba en una tarima junto a varias agrupaciones musicales pero por los motivos de salud de mi pequeño decidimos volver a casa apenas termino el desfile, así evitar que llegara la noche y estuviéramos aun por la calle.
The queens with very striking and typical costumes of my region, from the smallest of the house to the teenagers were present in these beautiful festivities; the parade ended on a stage next to several musical groups but for health reasons of my little one we decided to return home as soon as the parade ended, to avoid that the night came and we were still on the street.
Aunque no pudimos salir de paseo a ningún sitio, el pequeño momento que salimos disfrutamos y recobramos energías; gracias a Dios Juan Andrés se ha ido reponiendo, esa es la satisfacción mas grande como padre, vale la pena por ver saludable a mi hijo, verlo sano es la mejor recompensa. Por ahora se despide su amigo de siempre el Drhueso, hasta una nueva oportunidad.
Although we could not go for a walk anywhere, the small moment we went out we enjoyed and recovered energy; thanks to God Juan Andres has been recovering, that is the greatest satisfaction as a parent, it is worth it to see my son healthy, seeing him healthy is the best reward. For now his friend Drhueso says goodbye, until a new opportunity.
