Greetings my dear friends of Motherhood I am happy to be here again sharing my experiences and knowledge as a mom.
En este oportunidad quisiera hablar sobre un tema muy importante que en actualmente se ha perdido un poco y son los valores algo esencial para la vida de todo ser humano y es nuestro deber como padres rescatarlos e inculcarlos a nuestros hijos para que en el futuro sean hombres y mujeres de bien.
In this opportunity I would like to talk about a very important topic that has been lost a little bit nowadays and that is the values that are essential for the life of every human being and it is our duty as parents to rescue them and instill them in our children so that in the future they can be good men and women.
Primero hablaremos un poco sobre el concepto de los valores y son todas aquellas cualidades que posee un individuo y van de la mano con de sus creencias, sentimientos, ideas, pensamientos y la manera de comportarse en su entorno, tener los valores claros y bien marcados le permite a la persona a mantener un enfoque en sus prioridades y encaminar su vida.
First we will talk a little about the concept of values and they are all those qualities that an individual possesses and go hand in hand with their beliefs, feelings, ideas, thoughts and the way they behave in their environment, having clear and well marked values allows the person to maintain a focus on their priorities and direct their life.
El hogar es la primera escuela y es nuestro deber y obligación como padres inculcar los valores en nuestros niños ya que estos le ayudaran tener a lo largo de su vida ( criterio moral y principios ) tanto en la aprendizaje, como en sus creencias y en la convivencia para desenvolverse en armonía en cualquier entorno, familiar o escolar. Los valores son fundamentales y nos ayudan a conducirnos en la vida y así cumplir nuestros objetivos.
The home is the first school and it is our duty and obligation as parents to instill values in our children since these will help them to have throughout their lives (moral criteria and principles) both in learning, as in their beliefs and in living together to develop in harmony in any environment, family or school. Values are fundamental and help us to conduct ourselves in life and thus fulfill our objectives.
Alguno de los valores que desde bien pequeños debemos sembrar en nuestros pequeños son amor, humildad, gratidud, responsabilidad, solidaridad, bondad, empatía, paciencia, sinceridad, y perdón me gustaría hablarles un poco sobre cada uno de ellos:.
Some of the values that we should sow in our children from a very young age are love, humility, gratitude, responsibility, solidarity, kindness, empathy, patience, sincerity, and forgiveness, and I would like to talk to you a little about each of them:
- Amor: es el motor que da sentido a nuestra vida, el amor es compartir, es querer a los demás y a nosotros mismos, el amor es el sentimiento más bonito que podemos sentir y nos impulsa hacer las cosas bien, aprender a diferenciar entre el bien y el mal.
- Love**: is the engine that gives meaning to our life, love is sharing, is to love others and ourselves, love is the most beautiful feeling we can feel and drives us to do the right things, to learn to differentiate between good and evil_.
- Humildad: es un valor esencial para la vida, es el respeto ( Reconocer la dignidad por los otros" el aceptar a los demás y no sentirse superior.
- Humility**: is an essential value for life, it is the respect (to recognize the dignity of others, to accept others and not to feel superior).
- Gratitud: es el sentimiento de valoración y agradecimiento por todo lo que tenemos en la vida.
- Gratitude**: is the feeling of appreciation and gratitude for everything we have in life.
- Responsabilidad: es el valor que nos enseña a madurar, asumir compromisos, obligaciones y deberes.
- Responsibility**: is the value that teaches us to mature, to assume commitments, obligations and duties.
- Solidaridad: nos ayuda a fomentar la conciencia por las necesidades de los demás. El ayudar nos da alegría y satisfacción.
- Solidarity**: helps us to foster awareness of the needs of others. Helping gives us joy and satisfaction_.
- Bondad: es una cualidad o característica que refleja la esencia de la persona ( buena y bondadosa ) que se inclina por hacer el bien hacia las personas que la rodean.
- Kindness**: is a quality or characteristic that reflects the essence of the person (good and caring) who is inclined to do good to the people around him/her.
- Empatía: se caracteriza por tener afinidad, conexión , es el poder identificarse y saber comprender y escuchar a los demás.
- Empathy**: it is characterized by having affinity, connection, being able to identify with and understand and listen to others.
- Paciencia: es una habilidad y virtud para estar tranquilo ante las circunstancias, sufrimiento y adversidades que podamos tener en la vida.
- Patience**: is an ability and virtue to be calm in the face of circumstances, suffering and adversity that we may have in life.
- Sinceridad: es el valor que muestra la pureza y transparencia del ser humano, ser un individuo sincero significa no mentir y ser real.
- Sincerity**: is the value that shows the purity and transparency of the human being, being a sincere individual means not lying and being real_.
- Perdón: es de gran ayuda para el ser humano porque le permite admitir y aceptar sus errores y responsabilizarse de ello.
- Forgiveness**: it is of great help to human beings because it allows them to admit and accept their mistakes and take responsibility for them.
El educar a nuestros niños y niños, enseñar estos valores es vital y es trabajo de todos los padres, no se trata de un tema de viejas o nuevas épocas, se trata de inculcar desde pequeños principios que los conduzcan por el camino de lo correcto, los valores son fundamentales para la vida de toda persona nos sirven como guía para aprender a diferenciar entre lo que está bien u lo que está mal, por supuesto que debemos enseñarles a nuestros hijos que no somos perfectos que las personas que se equivocan eso está en nuestra naturaleza, pero que siempre debemos rectificar y hacerlo mejor cada día, creer en nosotros mismos y en nuestras fortalezas es importante, claro está sin perder nunca la humildad.
Educating our children, teaching these values is vital and it is the work of all parents, it is not a matter of old or new times, it is about instilling from an early age principles that lead them on the path of what is right, values are fundamental for the life of every person, they serve as a guide to learn to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong, of course we must teach our children that we are not perfect, that people make mistakes, that is in our nature, but that we must always rectify and do better every day, believe in ourselves and in our strengths is important, of course without ever losing humility.
