Mi Niña de bibliotecaria en el acto del día de los libros // My child as a librarian at the book day event.
With much love and pride I want to share with you the beautiful act that my little girl Isabella had today at her school! Isabella was very anxious for Monday to come, because she loves to participate in these events at her school! She is a very active, intelligent, disciplined child and loves to do the activities assigned to her by her beloved teacher. Today she had the great commitment of being a "Little Librarian", giving a presentation about the book day and presenting her classmates with beautiful books...
Para este acto la preparé muy bien durante todo el fin de semana y ella muy juiciosa y responsable estaba feliz por asumir su compromiso, así que hoy a las 9 de la mañana se levantó a repasar su exposición y en un momento me dijo que había soñado con este día y que ya quería que fuera la 1 de la tarde para estar en su colegio... Yo la abracé y le dije que tuviera paciencia que todo iba a salir muy bien... Así que le sí su desayuno 🥣, luego a las 12:30 le dí su almuerzo y al estar las 3 listas (mis 2 niñas y yo), nos fuimos al Colegio, él cuál nos queda a 1 cuadra de nuestra casa. Llegamos a la escuela y ya todos se estaban organizando para el acto, e Isabella de una vez se colocó en su lugar, muy feliz.
For this event I prepared her very well during the whole weekend and she was very judicious and responsible and was happy to assume her commitment, so today at 9 in the morning she got up to go over her presentation and at one point she told me that she had dreamed of this day and that she already wanted it to be 1 in the afternoon to be at her school.... I hugged her and told her to be patient that everything would be fine.... So I gave her breakfast 🥣, then at 12:30 I gave her lunch and when the 3 of us were ready (my 2 girls and me), we went to school, which is 1 block away from our house. We arrived at the school and everyone was already getting organized for the event, and Isabella took her place at once, very happy.

A la 1:15 de la tarde exactamente mi princesa empezó su exposición y yo toda derretida de orgullo, porque lo estaba haciendo excelente! Le hice videos y le tomé muchas fotos y por supuesto también bote unas lagrimitas de tanta satisfacción y felicidad al ver que mi bebé ya estaba grande y que asumía sus compromisos con mucha seriedad... A pesar de tener 6 años y de estar en 1er grado de Educación Básica, ella lo hizo impecable y todos estábamos muy orgullosos de ella!
At exactly 1:15 in the afternoon my princess started her exhibition and I was all melted with pride, because she was doing great! I made videos and took lots of pictures of her and of course I also shed a few tears of satisfaction and happiness to see that my baby was already grown up and that she was taking her commitments very seriously... Despite being 6 years old and in 1st grade of elementary school, she did impeccably and we were all very proud of her!

Luego que Isabella terminó de exponer, todos la aplaudimos y sus amiguitos (que eran los libros) se unieron con ella porque era parte del acto! La verdad todo quedó hermoso! Es maravilloso ver cómo nosotros los padres y los Profesores nos involucramos 100% con nuestros niños y los apoyamos para que hagan muy bien sus actividades... Después del acto y los aplausos tomé muchas fotografías y mi niña se sentía muy feliz y orgullosa de ella misma, me gritaba: -mamá lo hice muy bien-...
After Isabella finished her presentation, we all applauded her and her little friends (who were the books) joined her because it was part of the act! It was really beautiful! It is wonderful to see how we parents and teachers get 100% involved with our children and support them so that they can do their activities very well... After the act and the applause I took many pictures and my little girl was very happy and proud of herself, she was shouting at me: -Mommy I did very well-...
Ya después de las fotografías le dí un fuerte abrazo a mi Isabella y la acompañe a su aula de clases... Y en el salón tomamos otras fotos con su maestra y con sus compañeros... Yo aproveché y también me tomé una foto con mi niña y con su maestra!
After the pictures I gave my Isabella a big hug and accompanied her to her classroom.... And in the classroom we took other pictures with her teacher and classmates.... I also took a picture with my little girl and her teacher!
Allí en el aula estuve reunida un rato con la maestra y con los otros representantes organizando la otra actividad de esta semana! Luego ya me vine a casita a almorzar Y a esperar las 5 de la tarde para buscar a mis princesas! Y así estuvo el acto de mi hija menor sobre el día del libro (el cuál fué el pasado 23 de Abril) queridos padres, realmente hoy fue un día maravilloso para mí, porque pude compartir un momento único con mi hija menor, pude ver su crecimiento y pude ver su gran desenvolvimiento ante el público. Fue un honor para mí compartir mis vivencias de madre con ustedes! Gracias por estar y por ser parte de mis días!
There in the classroom I spent some time with the teacher and the other representatives organizing the other activity for this week! Then I went home for lunch AND to wait for 5 pm to pick up my princesses! And so was the act of my youngest daughter on the book day (which was last April 23rd) dear parents, today was really a wonderful day for me, because I could share a unique moment with my youngest daughter, I could see her growth and I could see her great performance in front of the public. It was an honor for me to share my experiences as a mother with you! Thank you for being there and for being part of my days!
