Mis saludos queridos papis, mamis, tíos y abuelos, no nada más emocionante para mí que poder compartir con mis queridos sobrinos, después de acompañar a mi sobrina a sus entrenamientos de voleibol, a su hermano mayor se le despertó la sangre deportiva y comenzó a entrenar también, en nuestra Iglesia teneos por costumbre incentivar a los jóvenes a realizar deportes y por ello seles organizan encuentros deportivos entre las diferentes sedes de la Iglesia en varios municipios del estado, así fue como después de varios años; debido a la pandemia el último encuentro se realizó en el 2019 justo antes de la llegado del Covid-19; varios líderes de la juventud en la Iglesia tomaron la iniciativa de promocionar este primer encuentro deportivo entre los jóvenes de los diferentes barrios (capillas).

Si bien es cierto que el voleibol es una pasión que me une a mis sobrinos, pude comprobar como esta misma pasión a unido a estos 6 jóvenes, durante dos meses consecutivos practicaron desde cero, pues para todos ellos conocían este deporte solo en texto, más no la habían practicado con disciplina, lo cual es muy importante en cada deporte y así fue como pasaron de ser compañeros de prácticas, pues uno de ellos no es miembro de la Iglesia más fue invitado a las prácticas y con el tiempo paso de ser un desconocido a ser amigo y hoy día todos son un equipo con un mismo sueño ser mejores cada día en su deporte favorito el voleibol.

While it is true that volleyball is a passion that unites me with my nephews, I could see how this same passion has united these 6 young people, for two consecutive months they practiced from scratch, because for all of them they knew this sport only in text, but had not practiced it with discipline, which is very important in every sport and that's how they became practice partners, because one of them is not a member of the church but was invited to practice and eventually went from being a stranger to being a friend and today they are all a team with the same dream to be better every day in their favorite sport volleyball.
