Hace unos días pude observar que Mathias le estaba saliendo un diente permanente, pero ese diente no desplazo al diente de leche que tenía, así que le salió por la parte de atrás, por supuesto tuve que empezar a buscar un odontólogo que por lo menos tuviese experiencia trabajando con niños con el Trastorno del Espectro Autista, crean que, no fue nada fácil...
Sin embargo recordé que una amiga de la infancia es odontólogo y no dude en preguntarle, me comentó que ella ha trabajado con niños con condiciones especiales anteriormente, que no había problema. Le pregunté si me podia dar una cita donde Mathias fuese el primer paciente, esto debido a que no se fatigara por la espera y así lo hizo.
La cita fue hoy, a eso de las 8:30 de la mañana, cabe resaltar que ha estado lloviendo desde la madrugada y eso atrasa todo, a pesar de eso pudimos llegar temprano, la doctora aún no llegaba y para que Mathias no se desesperara dimos una vuelta al centro comercial para dar tiempo que abrieran el consultorio.
Mi temor siempre estuvo presente, sobre todo en el momento que le realizarán la extracción como tal, a Mathias nunca le han colocado anestesia ni nada por el estilo, también temía que mordiera a la Doctora o que con los pies le empujara los instrumentos.
Gracias a Dios eso no pasó, a mí parecer se portó muy bien, claro está en el proceso de colocar la anestesia, de que la misma hiciera efecto se tuvo que tener un tiempo fuera donde el se sentaba, yo le colocaba algunos videos y así seguíamos, al final de la extracción del primer diente, le molestó un poco y comenzó a llorar, por ende no dejo que le revisaran el otro 😔.
La Doctora me indicó que de igual manera el otro diente no está tan flojo, así que para extraerlo se le debía hacer más fuerza y le iba a molestar más aún, no quiso traumatizarlo para que fuese en otra ocasión, me recomendó que le aflojara el diente a diario, pero que primero le colocará algo frío para que no le molestará y debo llevarlo en 15 días.
Realmente quedé maravillada con el trabajo de la doctora, una paciencia única, un cariño al tratar a Mathias, le hizo un globo con un guante para que lo tuviese en las manos mientras ella trabajaba, fue toda una profesional definitivamente, espero que en 15 días Mathias vuelva sin ningún inconveniente y puedan extraer el otro diente, mientras tanto veremos si está noche llega el ratón Pérez a traer algo debajo de la almohada...

The appointment was today, at about 8:30 in the morning, it is worth mentioning that it has been raining since early in the morning and that delays everything, in spite of that we were able to arrive early, the doctor had not arrived yet and so that Mathias would not get desperate we went around the mall to give time for the office to open.
My fear was always present, especially at the time of the extraction as such, Mathias has never been put under anesthesia or anything like that, I was also afraid that he would bite the doctor or that he would push the instruments with his feet.
Thank God that did not happen, in my opinion he behaved very well, of course in the process of placing the anesthesia, for it to take effect we had to have some time outside where he sat, I placed some videos and so we continued, at the end of the extraction of the first tooth, it bothered him a little and he started to cry, therefore he did not let them check the other one 😔.
The doctor told me that in the same way the other tooth is not so loose, so to extract it, more force should be used and it would bother him even more, she did not want to traumatize him to go another time, she recommended me to loosen the tooth daily, but first I should put something cold so it would not bother him and I should take him in 15 days.
I was really amazed with the work of the doctor, a unique patience, a love to treat Mathias, she made him a balloon with a glove so he could have it in his hands while she worked, she was definitely a professional, I hope that in 15 days Mathias returns without any inconvenience and they can extract the other tooth, meanwhile we will see if tonight comes the tooth fairy to bring something under the pillow....
