My Eldest Child, Yashfeen Learning to Be Responsible: A Child Development

Hello my dear Hivers of the @motherhood community. I hope you're all well and safe.

Today I will share to you a little about my daughter, Yashfeen and her development as a child.

When she was 2 years old, we started asking her to do little things she can already manage. For instance, I ask her to give me the comb she's holding or a spoon left in the table. Simple and doable things for a toddler.

At 3 years old she chooses her own clothes to wear. She can also wear her diaper all by herself. Not that much but is already a milestone for me.

Now that she's got a younger sibling she became more responsible. I guess she took it through observation. Every night before we sleep and in the morning when we wake up, it has become my routine to clean our bed.

Just recently, I was amazed by her. As she is now a school girl we come home in the afternoon together, while I feel tired from teaching she on the other hand changes her clothes all by herself and arranges our bed.

There was even one time she disappointedly asked her father why the bed is messy, haha. Because in the morning before we went to school she was able to tidy up the bed. She added how her brother and her father made a disaster in our room.

Tonight, while we were out in the living room watching a movie, she was inside tidying up. I caught her doing when I came to our room to make our youngest child a formula milk. She said it's too messy to sleep in. She even included her brother's crib. She arranged his hotdog pillows and dusted off the foam he sleeps in.

The sight is heartwarming. My lovely girl who used to be my little baby is growing too fast. I thank God for a good, kind, and beautiful girl she has become. I am proud to be her mother.

That would be all for today. Thanks for reading this far. Til my next post!

How lovely, it's important to teach them to be responsible.

That's good to see..Kids who are responsible at their very young age when they grow up also they become a responsible individual or citizen.
