Happy day to the amazing parents and grandparents here! 🌷
Hope you're all having a great day. ☺️
Today, I'm sharing about Aiden's last immunization shot.
It was yesterday when we took him to the barangay health center.
As we arrived, the waiting area was already filled with parents and their babies.
Some mothers were breastfeeding, while others were chatting and waiting for their turn.
The air inside was warm because of the crowded room, so after Aiden's weight and height were taken, we decided to step outside to catch some fresh air.
The view was breathtaking.
For a moment, the beauty of nature brought relief from the stifling atmosphere inside.
However, as I walked towards the front, I was greeted by an unpleasant sight.
Piles of garbage and trash are scattered all over the area.
It was disheartening to think that this was the first thing babies and parents saw after their visit.
I hope that the authorities will consider relocating the trash area to a spot where it wouldn't affect the health and well-being of the children.
After a few more minutes of waiting, the nurse called out Aiden's name.
It was his turn for the immunization shot. 🥹
As I held him close, he was so innocent and unaware of what was about to happen.
But as soon as the needle pricked his skin, his expression changed, and he let out a loud cry. 😭
Despite the brief moment of distress, Aiden was brave, and thankfully it was over.
After that, we headed to the grocery store.
It was conveniently less crowded since it was lunchtime.
We quickly grabbed what we needed and made our way to the cashier without much of a wait.
As we were checking out, I couldn't resist surprising Aiden with a new toy.
Given that he was such a brave boy during his shot, I thought he deserved it. 😇
His earlier discomfort seems forgotten in an instant. ☺️
The toy was a perfect distraction, and he couldn't stop playing with it as we left the store.
It was just a small consolation for the brief pain, but that's how we ended Aiden's immunization. 😁
Until our next bittersweet moments...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
The immunization part was really hard especially for mothers to see that their babies gentle skin will be pricked by a needle. But we endure all of it just for keeping our babies healthy.💗
Yeah. They need it. It's hard to accept sometimes how we brought them there para lang masaktan. 🤦🏼♀️But it's for their advantage. Kakaawa nga lang pag umiyak na. Huhu
Touching story! Aiden is so brave for finishing his last immunization. You’re such a caring mom for being there and making the day special for him. I also hope the surroundings near the health center get cleaned, babies and parents deserve a healthy place.
Yeah. Knowing that that place is for immunization, pero yung sa harap, di man lang good for our health. Aygoo! Sana talaga ilipat nila yun.
What a beautiful boy Aiden is. I'm glad you both made it through your last vaccination. Blessings to your family.
Aww. 🥹 Thank you. Yeah. We really do our best to complete the vaccination. I believe that it's good for his health. Thank you for dropping by. ♥️
