Les cuento que yo nunca me he disfrazado, crecí con mi abuela y ella no tenía esa costumbre, solo recuerdo que nos llevaba a la plaza de mi pueblo y allí veíamos pasar las hermosas carrosas con las candidatas para reina del carnaval, estando allí mirábamos el desfile de carrosas y esperábamos que nos lanzarán los caramelos. Y así pasábamos el rato viendo pasar las carrosas y comiendo caramelos.
I tell you that I have never dressed up, I grew up with my grandmother and she did not have that custom, I only remember that she would take us to the square of my town and there we would see the beautiful floats with the candidates for the carnival queen, being there we would watch the parade of floats and we would wait for the candies to be thrown to us. And so we spent the time watching the floats pass by and eating candy.
Para alguien como yo, que no tiene cultura de disfrazarse y mucho menos de comprar difraz;los carnavales se vuelven todo un reto, ya que siempre me agarra sin saber que difraz comprar, ya que no realizó con tiempo 😅 el preguntar a mi niña que disfraz quiere usar.
Así que desde que soy mamá me ha tocado varias veces improvisar un disfraz.
For someone like me, who has no culture of dressing up, let alone buying a costume, carnivals become a challenge, because I always get caught without knowing what costume to buy, since I didn't have time 😅 to ask my girl what costume she wants to wear.
So since I've been a mom, I've had to improvise a costume several times.
Una de las veces que me ha tocado improvisar fue hace dos años.
One of the times I had to improvise was two years ago.
Al llegar el día de carnavales y ver a todos los niños disfrazados mi niña me pregunta mamá y mi disfraz ? Y es ahí en dónde mi cerebro comienza pensar que hacer.
Un difraz improvisado es agarrar un vestido lindo de tu hija y comprarle en la tienda una coronita,pintarle los labios y peinarla lindo y su difraz será de princesita.😁
When carnival day arrives and I see all the kids dressed up, my little girl asks me mommy and my costume, and that's when my brain starts to think about what to do.
An improvised costume is to take a cute dress of your daughter and buy her a little crown in the store, paint her lips and comb her hair and her costume will be of a little princess.
Este año no fue la excepción 😃, mi niña tenía su una actividad en clase y a mí se me olvidó comprar el disfraz de nuevo. Así que a las 9 de la noche recordé que no tenía difraz, así que una vez más me tocó improvisar.
This year was no exception 😃, my girl had her class activity and I forgot to buy the costume again. So at 9pm I remembered that I didn't have a costume, so once again I had to improvise.
Pensé en disfrazarla de bailarina ya que ella hace ballet y es algo que le gusta. Y tengo su uniforme de ballet. Pero me faltaba un tutú, luego de pensar una hora y ver unos cuantos tutoriales en internet, realice el tutú. Gracias a Dios tenía en casa telas de Tull, luego pensé en que sería un hada pero luego recordé que las hadas de las películas siempre llevan flores en el cabello o una corona de Flores asi que rápidamente me puse a tejer tres flores en Crochet y las pegue en un gancho francés y me imaginaba como iba quedando.
I thought of dressing her up as a ballerina since she does ballet and it's something she likes. And I have her ballet uniform. But I was missing a tutu, after thinking for an hour and watching a few tutorials on the internet, I made the tutu. Thank God I had Tull fabrics at home, then I thought it would be a fairy but then I remembered that fairies in movies always wear flowers in their hair or a crown of flowers so I quickly started to knit three flowers in Crochet and glued them on a French hook and I imagined how it was going to be.
Luego pensé la maquillo bien bonita y listo una hada. Listo mi disfraz y me acoste a dormir.
Then I thought I'd make her up nice and pretty and ready a fairy. I got my costume ready and went to bed to sleep.
Al otro día pensé para que sea un hada necesita orejas de elfo. Así que realice las orejas con tirro doblandolo en forma de traingulo y pegando al mismo tiempo a su oreja y las maquille con base de maquillaje para que se vieran más reales.
The next day I thought for her to be a fairy she needs elf ears. So I made the ears with a strip of cloth folding it in the shape of a traingulum and gluing it to her ear at the same time and made them up with foundation to make them look more real.
Así que la maquille y le coloque el uniforme de ballet y el tutú que le hice la noche anterior.
Le dije que su disfraz era del hada bailarina ❤️.
So I did her makeup and put her in the ballet uniform and tutu I made her the night before.
I told her that her costume was the fairy ballerina ❤️.
Ella al verse al espejo su maquille de hada le gustó mucho y estaba muy emocionada,me abrazo y me dijo gracias mamá. Yo me derreti de amor y pensé en todo lo que hacemos por nuestros hijos ya que para mí la fecha de carnaval no una fecha importante, pero por ella soy capaz de cambiar de mis costumbres e ideales para que ella no se sienta mal o menos, y pongo en práctica todos mis talentos y lo que no se por ella lo invento.
When she saw her fairy make-up in the mirror, she liked it very much and was very excited, she hugged me and said thank you mom. I melted with love and thought of all that we do for our children because for me the date of carnival is not an important date, but for her I am able to change my habits and ideals so that she does not feel bad or less, and I put into practice all my talents and what I do not know for her I invent it.

Hola @milamarkn 🤗 Este es un fiel ejemplo de que ser madre es un reto diario, hacemos lo necesario para verlos felices y aunque a veces dejamos pasar las cosas, siempre encontramos una solución por más complicada que sea.
