Hola queridos mamás y papás de esta comunidad, es un placer poder compartir mis experiencias con ustedes, ya que como mamá primeriza hay cosas nuevas que estoy viviendo y se que muchas mamitas que tienen a sus bebés más chiquitos o aún lo tienen en su vientre les gustaría saber que esperar en algunos momentos, como este que les voy a contar, su primer corte de cabello.
Como sabrán todas las personas tengan hijos o no quieren darnos consejos de cuál es el mejor momento para cortarle el cabello a nuestro bebé, pero mi esposo y yo decidimos hacerlo luego de que cumplió su primer año. Tenía varias semanas buscando a una persona indicada que supiera como trabajar con bebés porque por los movimientos bruscos que hacen o el miedo a lo desconocido puede llegar a ser peligroso y algunos barberos no saben manejar esa situación o no tienen la paciencia para hacerlo.
Hello dear moms and dads of this community, it is a pleasure to share my experiences with you, because as a new mom there are new things that I am living and I know that many moms who have their babies younger or still have it in their womb would like to know what to expect at some moments, like this I'm going to tell you, their first haircut.
As you may know, everyone, whether they have children or not, wants to give us advice on the best time to cut our baby's hair, but my husband and I decided to do it after he turned one year old. I had been looking for several weeks for the right person who knew how to work with babies because the sudden movements they make or the fear of the unknown can be dangerous and some barbers don't know how to handle that situation or don't have the patience to do so.
Encontré tres personas que se notaba que sabían trabajar con niños, pero dos de esas opciones eran muy retiradas de mi casa y como mi esposo estaba trabajando a tiempo completo, iba a ser dificil venirme después sola con el niño, así que decidí la opción más cercana. Esa decisión también la tomé debido a que exactamente dos semanas antes mi cuñado se corto el cabello con ese muchacho y además de que le quedó bien el corte el cabello le creció muy rápido. Aquí en nuestro país solemos decir que hay personas que no tienen buena mano para cortar cabello porque luego de que lo cortan a muchos le tarda muchísimo tiempo en crecer. Como yo vi que el barbero hacía un buen trabajo y además hacía que creciera rápido el cabello tomé la decisión de que él le haría su primer corte de cabello.
Al llegar mi bebé se reía, vio el lugar como un sitio nuevo para jugar, pero cuando lo sentamos en la silla supo que algo estaba pasando, no le gustó mucho pero igual estaba tranquilo, hasta que escuchó el sonido de la maquina de afeitar y comenzó a llorar. Me senté con el en los brazos y se sentía con más confianza, mi esposo le había descargado varios videos para que no se pusiera tan nervioso pero no funcionaban, pero cuando le coloqué un video donde una de sus tías lo saluda y le habla eso lo calmó, repetí el video más o menos diez veces y así le lograron hacer el corte de cabello.
I found three people that I could tell knew how to work with children, but two of those options were very far from my house and since my husband was working full time, it was going to be difficult for me to come alone with the child, so I decided to go with the closest option. I also made that decision because exactly two weeks before my brother-in-law had his hair cut by that guy and besides the fact that the cut looked good, his hair grew very fast. Here in our country we usually say that there are people who do not have a good hand for cutting hair because after they cut it, many of them take a long time to grow. Since I saw that the barber did a good job and also made the hair grow fast, I decided that he would give her her first haircut.
When we arrived my baby was laughing, he saw the place as a new place to play, but when we sat him in the chair he knew something was going on, he didn't like it very much but he was still calm, until he heard the sound of the razor and started to cry. I sat with him in my arms and he felt more confident, my husband had downloaded several videos for him so he wouldn't get so nervous but they didn't work, but when I played him a video where one of his aunts greets him and talks to him that calmed him down, I repeated the video about ten times and that's how he got his hair cut.
De antemano, yo había buscado el modelo de corte que quería que le hicieran, nunca me imaginé que iba a quedar igual, a pesar de los movimientos de mi bebé, el barbero se las ingenió para hacer un buen trabajo y hacer el corte exacto que había visto en la foto que solo le mostré una vez, quedé super feliz con los resultados y cuando mi esposo llegó y lo vio también le gustó mucho, la cara se le veía diferente pero sigue teniendo la misma sonrisa que enamora, todos los que lo han visto me han dicho que le quedó muy bien.
Ahora si les digo es que mientras le cortaban el cabello a mi bebé una lágrima rodó por mi mejilla, al ver sus cabellos dorados cayendo y quedando solo los más oscuros, eso como que me estaba indicando el fin de una etapa y que mi bebé está creciendo muy rápido. Me dió un poco de nostalgia, pero supongo que eso les pasa a todas las mamás al darse cuenta de que sus bebés están creciendo. Si aún no has pasado por eso te recomiendo que lleves un pañuelo cuando te toque porque uno no sabe cuando le puede hacer falta.
Mi bebé, con su nuevo corte a mi parecer quedó hermoso, yo le digo que ahora parece un pequeño hombrecito. Muchas gracias por leerme, estaré atenta a sus comentarios.
Beforehand, I had looked for the haircut model I wanted them to do, I never imagined it would look the same, despite my baby's movements, the barber managed to do a good job and make the exact cut I had seen in the photo that I only showed him once, I was super happy with the results and when my husband arrived and saw it he also liked it a lot, his face looked different but he still has the same smile that makes you fall in love, everyone who has seen it has told me that it looked very good.
Now I can tell you that while they were cutting my baby's hair a tear rolled down my cheek, when I saw her golden hair falling and only the darker ones were left, it was like that was telling me the end of a stage and that my baby is growing up very fast. It made me a little homesick, but I guess that happens to all moms when they realize that their babies are growing up. If you haven't gone through it yet, I recommend you bring a scarf when it's your turn because you never know when you might need it.

Se ve precioso tu bebé con su corte. El mío ya tiene 9 años y su primer corte fue a los 11 meses. Aún tengo guardado sus ricitos como recuerdo.
