Especially to the @motherhood community because today I join this new challenge about my son's first teeth, which I think is great, because this is a unique memory in our life as a mother that we always want to share as the best anecdote, in addition it is one more experience that will be useful to every new mother.

En especial a la comunidad @motherhood pues hoy me uno a este nuevo reto sobre los primeros dientes de mi hijo, el cual me parece estupendo, pues este es un recuerdo único en nuestra vida como mamá que deseamos siempre compartir como la mejor anécdota, además es una experiencia más que le será útil a cada nueva mamá.

When my son was 5 months old, he began to put everything in his mouth, he wanted to bite everything in his path and he complained very frequently, it was there that we realized that his gum was itching and that his first tooth would soon appear.
So I decided to buy him several gum scratchers in order to alleviate his discomfort a little and that he could be distracted, which turned out very well, he did not release the gum scratcher even when he fell asleep, it became his favorite toy, I thought that his teeth would quickly appear but It wasn't like that. I had to wait a little longer.
Cuando mi hijo cumplió los 5 meses de nacido empezó a llevarse todo a la boca, quería morder todo a su paso y se quejaba con mucha frecuencia, fue allí donde nos dimos cuenta que le picaba su encía y que pronto aparecería su primer diente.
Entonces decidí comprarle varios rasca encías con la finalidad de aliviar un poco su malestar y que pudiera distraerse, cosa que resulto muy bien no soltaba el rasca encías ni siquiera al quedarse dormido, se convirtió en su juguete preferido, pensé que rápidamente aparecerían sus dientes pero no fue así me toco esperar un poco más.
When Jonah was about to turn 7 months old, he began to get sick, he constantly had a fever and also did not want to eat anything at all, it was even more difficult for me to breastfeed him because not even the breast wanted to drink, we were really scared and I took him to his pediatrician to check He told me that I should have a little patience with him because his lower gum was very swollen and his first tooth was about to burst and it was quite normal for it to grow like that.
Jonas spent almost a week barely eating, he simply wanted to drink juices, compote and his teat, apart from the fever he also started to get a little flu, something that we thought at the beginning had nothing to do with his teeth, something in the which I was wrong because this was also part of that process, there are children who usually go through that stage very well as was the case with my 2 older nephews, so I never thought that my son would be affected so much by this.
Cuando Jonás estaba por cumplir los 7 meses empezó a enfermarse le daba constantemente fiebre y además no quería comer absolutamente nada, es más se me hacía difícil hasta amamantarlo pues ni siquiera la teta quería tomar, estábamos realmente asustado y lo lleve a su pediatra al revisarlo me dijo que debía tenerle un poco de paciencia pues tenía la encía inferior muy inflamada y estaba por reventarle su primer diente y que se pusiera así era bastante normal.
Jonás paso casi una semana que apenas comía, simplemente quería tomar jugos, compota y su teta, aparte de la fiebre también le empezó a dar un poco de gripe, algo que pensamos al comienzo no tenía nada que ver con sus dientes, cosa en la cual me equivoque pues esto también era parte de ese proceso, hay niños que por lo general pasan por esa etapa muy bien como lo fue el caso de mis 2 sobrinos mayores por lo que nunca pensé que a mi hijo esto le afectara tanto.
One morning when we got up we started to play and make him laugh at that moment my mother began to scream, she said: oh now yes, now she already has teeth. When we checked it, it was not one but two teeth that had sprung up in the lower gum, which was quite inflamed, the emotion was inexplicable, we were all very excited, also as usual in my house who sees the children the first tooth must give her a gift.
So it is grandmother's turn to give a gift (laughs), after having burst his first 2 teeth, Jonah was a little calmer, he stopped crying so much and started eating a little more again, his pediatrician recommended a gum cream that was It is used when the baby's teeth start to come out, it was quite good because his gums slept for a long time and he managed to calm down and be distracted in other things.
After those first 2 teeth, and that he was very well, Jonas began to get bad again the same symptoms, he did not want to eat, he only complained and cried most of the day, when checking him I noticed that the upper gum was also inflamed and I understood that soon the top teeth would come out, so we started all over again.
Una mañana al levantarnos empezamos a jugar y hacerlo reír en ese momento mi mamá empezó a gritar, decía: ay ahora sí, ahora si ya tiene dientes. Cuando lo revisamos no era uno sino dos dientitos que le habían brotado en la encía inferior, la cual estaba bastante inflamada, la emoción era inexplicable todos estábamos muy emocionados, además como cosa de costumbre en mi casa quien le ve a los niños el primer diente debe darle un obsequio.
Así que a la abuela le toca dar regalo (risas), luego de haberle reventado sus 2 primeros dientitos Jonás estuvo un poco más tranquilo dejo de llorar tanto y empezó nuevamente a comer un poco más, su pediatra me recomendó una crema para encías que se utiliza cuando a los bebe les empieza a salir los dientes, era bastante buena pues le dormía por largo rato la encía y él lograba calmarse y distraerse en otras cosas.
Después de esos 2 primeros dientes, y que estaba muy bien Jonás empezó a ponerse mal de nuevo los mismos síntomas, no quería comer solo se quejaba y lloraba la gran parte del día, al revisarlo note que la encía superior también estaba inflamada y entendí que pronto le saldrían los dientitos de arriba, así que iniciamos todo de nuevo.
Something that caught my attention and the reason why I went to the pediatrician several times during this process was that my son got sick every time a tooth came out, not only were the fevers also suffered from strong flu, the doctor for several Sometimes I send him to perform various tests, in which thank God nothing bad appeared, then he explained to me that each child is different, some this process does not affect them, others give them mild discomfort but they are soon relieved and in the specific case of Jonah this process affected him considerably.
Each new tooth that emerged for my son was a huge joy, as well as a new gift from whoever saw it first (laughs), but it was also a process of great patience, care and love, because after his first 4 teeth I learned to identify when it was a sickness of illness and when it was sickness and flu from the teeth, something that helped me a lot and prevented me from going so often to the pediatrician (laughs). His teeth appeared much later and we went through the same situation and even a little worse, but I must say that the help of my family and with that gum cream we alleviated his discomfort a lot, although he became much thinner during the time when his teeth came out later from this everything was perfect.
Thank God I had no problems with bites because Jonah never bit or bit anyone, he is currently 3 years old and enjoys his teeth to the fullest, every morning when he wakes up I help him brush his teeth and before going to sleep We do it again, using a toothpaste for children that their pediatrician recommended to me, this whole process is part of the beautiful experience we have as a mother and although sometimes we despair by not understanding them, we are soon learning and improving in our role, we just have to keep in mind that each child is different and with love and patience everything is achieved.
Algo que me llamaba mucho la atención y razón por la cual fui varias veces al pediatra durante este proceso, era que mi hijo se enfermaba cada vez que le salía un diente, no solo eran las fiebres también sufría de fuertes gripes, la doctora por varias ocasiones le mando a realizar diversos exámenes, en los cuales gracias a dios no aparecía nada malo, entonces me explico que cada niño es diferente algunos este proceso no les afecta, a otros les da malestar leve pero pronto se alivian y en el caso específico de Jonás este proceso le afectaba considerablemente.
Cada diente nuevo que le brotaba a mi hijo era una enorme alegría, además de un obsequio nuevo de quien se lo viera primero (risas), pero también era un proceso de mucha paciencia, cuidado y amor, pues después sus primeros 4 dientitos aprendí a identificar cuando era un malestar de enfermedad y cuando era el malestar y gripe por los dientes, algo que me ayudó mucho y evito que siguiera yendo tan seguido al pediatra (risas). Sus muelas aparecieron mucho después y pasamos por la misma situación y hasta un poco peor, pero debo decir que la ayuda de mi familia y con esa crema para encías aliviamos bastante su malestar, aunque enflaquecía mucho durante el tiempo en que le salían sus dientes luego de esto todo era perfecto.
Gracias a dios no tuve problemas en cuanto a mordeduras pues Jonás nunca mordió ni a mordido a nadie, actualmente tiene 3 añitos de edad y disfruta de sus dientes al máximo, todas las mañanas al despertar lo ayudo a cepillarse sus dientes y antes de dormir lo hacemos nuevamente, utilizando una crema dental para niños que me recomendó su pediatra, todo este proceso forma parte de la linda experiencia que tenemos como madre y aunque a veces desesperemos al no entenderlos pronto vamos aprendiendo y mejorando en nuestro rol, solo debemos tener presente que cada niño es diferente y con amor y paciencia todo se logra.
