Hello, my beautiful people of #hive and @motherhood, happy day filled with many blessings. This school year that just ended and the one that just began in September in my country, Venezuela, have many wonderful experiences to share with you. From my perspective as a teacher and mother, I share the necessary training we must acquire to support my children's creative and transformative learning, both biologically and in life. One of these experiences has been the Creative Reading and Writing workshops for teachers at the Learning Resource Center, or School Library, as it is currently known. Last school year, teacher training was reinvigorated with the intention of helping our children develop their reading and writing skills. These workshops were held through the "Professor Venancio Urrieta" CLIFPM, which operates in the Bolívar municipality, Sucre state, with the goal of achieving quality education for our students. To be a disseminator of this information, I want to share it with all the parents of this community.
It is gratifying for me to share my experience as a mother and teacher, from this beautiful workshop I attended with my colleagues at Jesús Alberto Marcano Echezuria High School. I had the opportunity to acquire wonderful, practical, and creative tools to help our children develop an interest in reading and writing, which are the fundamental foundation for expressing what they feel, imagine, and think through writing and the reading of their work inside and outside the classroom.
In this world, where we are constantly surrounded by technology, teaching our children and students to write and read becomes a challenge. It has become a challenge that must fall upon us, as teachers, parents, and guardians. It has been proven that when families and schools work together on children's holistic learning, the results are more satisfactory, with enriching, transformative, and meaningful experiences for the entire group involved. Therefore, in our roles as teachers and parents, we must acquire the necessary tools to foster curiosity, creativity, a love of books, and writing. Only then, if we join forces to prepare ourselves, can we teach and encourage reading and writing as a gateway to a better world for our children.
This workshop helped me prepare and learn the pedagogical tools and strategies necessary to achieve dynamic and creative learning in our children. Among the audiovisual resources mentioned were the use of animated stories, audiobooks, images, games, dramatizations, creative writing of individual and collective handmade books, the creation of posters, and lapbooks. These teaching and learning resources are tools that can capture our children's attention and In turn, it stimulates their imagination and creative thinking.
When we engage in these types of activities with our children in writing and reading, whether at school or at home, we find ourselves engaging in a very productive and meaningful experience. It's not just our task to teach and learn from the children, but also the importance of sharing unique and wonderful moments with them, writing and reading stories, tales, and adventures that are the result of teamwork. These activities, together, strengthen the children's affective and emotional bonds, making it clear that their learning is very important to us as teachers, parents, and guardians.
We are clear that as teachers, we must foster these spaces (meetings, team reading and creative writing sessions, supported exhibitions of work, and extracurricular activities) that allow us to build a committed school community where parents and guardians can connect with their children and their constituents in the comprehensive teaching and learning process.
We see every day that our children feel more confident and motivated when we support them and work together in their daily activities. They are improving significantly in Their emotional, social, and creative development, as well as their academic performance, is enhanced. Through this approach, children cease to view learning as an obligation, transforming it into a wonderful experience, where each book written and read is an opportunity to express and express their feelings, thoughts, and emotions to the world around them, without feeling limited by anything or anyone.
Let's reflect on the importance we have as a family and school in teaching our children to read and write creatively. This isn't an isolated task, but a collective one, where together we can make a difference. Every step we take is filled with love, patience, dedication, and effort, for the benefit of our children. To continue guiding them with dedication, strategies, and commitment is, without a doubt, the best gift we can give them from an early age. Let's do our best; they deserve it 🥰. Mi experiencia en el taller de lectura y escritura creativa: la magia de leer y escribir con nuestros hijos
Hola, mi gente hermosa de #hive y de @motherhood, feliz día lleno de muchas bendiciones. Este año escolar que culminó y el que recién que inicio en el mes de septiembre en mi país Venezuela, hay muchas experiencias maravillosas por contactarles, desde mi perspectiva de docente y madre con respecto a las formaciones necesarias que debemos adquirir para ayudar en el aprendizaje creativo y transformador de mis hijos biológico y de vida, uno de ellos ha sido los talleres de Lectura y Escritura Creativa a los docentes del Centro del Recurso para los Aprendizajes o Biblioteca Escolar como actualmente se le llama. El año escolar pasado, se retomó con fuerza las preparaciones a los docentes, con la intención de ayudar a nuestros niños y niñas en la lectura y escritura, estos talleres se realizaron a través del CLIFPM "Profesor Venancio Urrieta que funciona en el municipio Bolívar, estado Sucre, con el fin de alcanzar la calidad educativa en nuestros estudiantes. Para ser multiplicadora de esta información, hoy quiero compartirla con todos los padres y madres de esta comunidad.
Para mí es gratificante compartir mi experiencia como madre y docente, de este hermoso taller que recibí junto a mis colegas en el liceo Jesús Alberto Marcano Echezuria, donde tuve la oportunidad de apropiarme de herramientas maravillosas, práctica y creativas para ayudar a que nuestros hijos despierten el interés por la lectura y escritura, que son la base fundamentales para expresar lo que sienten, imaginan y piensan a través de las letras y lectura de lo que producen desde sus trabajos dentro y fuera de las aulas de clases.
En este mundo, donde constantemente estamos rodeados de la tecnología, enseñar a nuestros hijos y estudiantes a escribir y leer se ha convertido en un reto, que deben recaer en nosotros los docentes, padres y representantes. Ya está comprobado que cuando la familia y la escuela trabajan en conjunto en el aprendizaje integral de los niños y niñas, los resultados son más satisfactorios, con experiencias enriquecedoras, transformadoras y significativas en todo el colectivo que participa. Por eso, desde nuestro papel como docentes y padres, debemos apropiarnos de herramientas necesarias para fomentar la curiosidad, creatividad, el amor por los libros y la escritura. Solo así, si juntamos esfuerzos para prepararnos, podemos enseñar y fomentar la lectura y escritura como puerta para un mundo mejor para nuestros niños y niñas.
Ese taller me ayudó a prepararme y conocer las herramientas y estrategias pedagógicas necesarias para lograr un aprendizaje dinámico y creativo en nuestros niños y niñas. Dentro de los recursos audiovisuales que se hicieron menciones: utilizar cuentos animados, audiolibros, imágenes, juegos, dramatizaciones, escritura creativas de libros artesanales individuales y colectivos, elaboración de carteleras, lapbook, estos recursos didácticos y de aprendizajes, son herramientas que pueden captar la atención de nuestros niños y niñas y a su vez estimular su imaginación y pensamiento creativo.
Cuando nos vinculamos en estos tipos de actividades junto a nuestros niños y niñas en la escritura y la lectura, desde la escuela o la casa, nos encontramos con experiencia muy productiva y significativa. No solo es nuestra tarea de enseñanza y aprendizaje de los niños y niñas, sino la importancia de compartir momentos únicos y maravillosos junto a ellos, escribiendo y leyendo historias, cuentos y aventuras producto del trabajo en equipo. Estas actividades, en conjunto, refuerzan los vínculos afectivos y emocionales de los niños y niñas, dejándole claro que su aprendizaje es muy importante para nosotros como docentes, padres y representantes.
Tenemos claro que como docentes debemos propiciar estos espacios (reuniones, jornadas de lecturas y escritura creativa en equipo, exposiciones de trabajos con apoyo y actividades extracurriculares), que permitan construir una comunidad escolar comprometida, donde los padres y representantes puedan vincularse con sus hijos y representados en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje integral.
Vemos a diario que nuestros niños y niñas se sienten más seguros y motivados cuando los acompañamos y trabajamos en conjunto en sus actividades diarias. Mejorando significativamente en su desarrollo afectivo, emocional, social y creativo, además de su rendimiento académico. Con esta dinámica el niño o la niña deja de ver el aprendizaje como una obligación, convirtiéndose en una experiencia maravillosa, donde cada libro escrito y leído, es una oportunidad para expresar y plasmar sus sentimientos, pensamientos y emociones al mundo que lo rodea, sin sentirse limitado por nada, ni nadie.
Reflexionemos sobre la importancia que tenemos como familia y escuela, en enseñar a nuestros niños y niñas a leer y escribir de forma creativa. No se trata de una tarea aislada, sino colectiva, donde juntos podemos marcar la diferencia y cada paso que demos sea lleno de amor, paciencia, entrega, esfuerzo, en beneficio de nuestros niños y niñas, para seguir guiándolos con dedicación, estrategias, y compromiso, es sin duda, el mejor regalo que podemos darles desde temprana edad. As a parent, I can really relate, reading and writing together with our kids builds such a strong bond. I also try to make learning fun at home through stories and drawing, and I can see how much it helps my child grow. Thank you for sharing this meaningful experience!
