Felices fiestas queridos padres de Motherhood.
La Navidad es la época más bonita del año no sólo por las luces, adornos o regalos, sino porque es mágica para los niños ellos hacen que se perciba de manera distinta, la alegría está por doquier y hacer que nuestros hijos la disfruten de la mejor manera es lo más llena a nuestro corazón, mis hijas aunque están pequeñas se disfrutaron un montón la Nochebuena.
Aún no preparamos la carta para Santa Claus porque Alys aún no escribe porque está aprendiendo el abecedario, así que conversando con ella le pidió una muñeca y princesa Blancanieves, mi hija es poco exigente nunca agregó más juguetes a su lista pregunte varias veces que si estaba segura y solo quería a ésta muñeca. En cuánto a mi pequeña Abby aún no habla pero se que le encantan los juegos didácticos y no podía quedarse sin recibir sus regalos.
Primero debíamos esperar a Santa Claus me explique a mi hija mayor que debía tomar una siesta en la tarde para que pudiera estar despierta para cuando llegasen los regalos, luego de que durmieron jugaron un poco, las vestí y aliste para ir a que sus bisabuelos es una tradición desde hace varios años, Alys no paraba de repetir con mucha alegría que Santa venía desde que despertó muy temprano en la mañana y Abby aunque no entendía nada no dejaba de aplaudir y estaba feliz, nos fuimos a comer a casa de mis abuelos a cenar con toda la familia.
Una vez pasadas las 10 de la noche Santa llegó con los regalos de las niñas, Alys estaba muy contenta con su amada muñeca Blancanieves no dejaba repetir lo mucho que le gustaba, que su vestimenta era amarilla y azul, que ambas eran unas princesas, también se le añadió a sus regalos una pequeña cocinita ya que ella demuestra interés en cocinar cuando estoy preparando recetas en casa. Abby recibió imánes de colores para construir formas y unos tacos para que pudiera organizarlos uno al lado o arriba del otro hasta que pueda también emplearlos para aprender las letras, inmediatamente comenzó a jugar con sus juguetes sin saber aún quién es Santa, pasaron un par de horas jugando con los obsequios.
Finalmente esperamos la llegada del niño Jesús en casa de mis abuelo, en mi familia son un poco diferentes las cosas hay quienes dicen que los regalos los trae Santa Claus, el niño Jesús o los Reyes Magos lo cierto es que a mi hija mayor le he explicado que los regalos los trae Santa, pero que Jesús trae lo que deseamos con el corazón que es el amor de nuestra familia, alegría, felicidad y a nuestros amigos.
Fue un día bastante agotador para mamá pero a la vez me sentía muy feliz porque sus sonrisas dicen que hice un buen trabajo con la elección de sus juguetes para así poder continuar con la experiencia de ser Santa hasta que crezcan, valió la pena buscar a Blancanieves entre varias cajas de una tienda, pero lo más importante es compartir y estar ahí para ellas no tiene precio son quienes le Dan ese toque de magia a la Navidad.

We have not yet prepared the letter to Santa Claus because Alys still does not write because she is learning the alphabet, so talking with her she asked for a doll and princess Snow White, my daughter is not very demanding, she never added more toys to her list, I asked her several times if she was sure and she only wanted this doll. As for my little Abby, she doesn't speak yet but I know she loves educational games and she couldn't stay without her gifts.
First we had to wait for Santa Claus I explained to my oldest daughter that she should take a nap in the afternoon so she could be awake for when the gifts arrived, after they slept they played a little, I dressed them and ready to go to their great-grandparents is a tradition for several years, Alys kept repeating with great joy that Santa was coming since she woke up very early in the morning and Abby although she did not understand anything did not stop clapping and was happy, we went to eat at my grandparents house to have dinner with the whole family.
Alys was very happy with her beloved Snow White doll and kept repeating how much she liked it, that her dress was yellow and blue, that they were both princesses, she also got a small kitchenette as she shows interest in cooking when I am preparing recipes at home. Abby received colorful magnets to build shapes and some blocks so she can arrange them side by side or on top of each other until she can also use them to learn her letters, she immediately started playing with her toys without knowing who Santa is yet, they spent a couple of hours playing with the gifts.
Finally we waited for the arrival of baby Jesus at my grandparents' house, in my family things are a little different, some people say that Santa Claus, baby Jesus or the Three Wise Men bring the gifts, the truth is that I have explained to my oldest daughter that Santa brings the gifts, but Jesus brings what we want with our hearts, which is the love of our family, joy, happiness and our friends.
It was a very tiring day for mom but at the same time I felt very happy because their smiles say that I did a good job with the choice of their toys so I can continue with the experience of being Santa until they grow up, it was worth it to look for Snow White among several boxes in a store, but the most important thing is to share and be there for them is priceless, they are the ones who give that touch of magic to Christmas.
