In my house all our life we have been surrounded by animals because we like them very much that's why the girls enjoy having them around, we currently have a red macaw named Guaco, a little bird that is nicknamed Pipi and a little dog named Blue, although we have time with them Alys insisted that she wanted a pet just for her and not one that she had to share with everyone, I always explained to her that she should be old enough to be able to take care of one and understand everything a pet needs to be well, among which is their food and their own space to keep them comfortable.
My dad brought a new pet, it was a gift from a friend of his and it is a blue beta fish, he gave it to Alys because he knew how much she longed to have her own pet and it came in a plastic bottle with some seaweed, He went to a pet store and brought her the ideal food for her consumption, I know very little about fish because my favorite pet is a dog so I am more knowledgeable about this type of animal, I am thankful that he did not show up with a rabbit as he mentioned so many times to my little girl that he would bring her one.
Alys got very excited and immediately started looking for a name for her fish, she mentioned several names like Send, Tom, among others without being very convinced, until she came up with the name Blue because of its characteristic color, so now we have Blue our dog in English and Azul our beta fish in Spanish, which made me laugh because they are called the same but in different languages.
Still need to find the right tank, so I would appreciate your advice on what are the ideal or recommended for this type of fish, I guess along with Alys I will learn along the way the necessary care for this with her as long as possible, she enjoys giving food and although sometimes wants to take him out of his space I always explain that out of the water he can not survive and must always remain there.
We hope that Azul will be part of our family for a long time, by the way although he belongs to Alys his little sister Abby is also committed with his feeding and observing several times how the fish is at home, although I felt that they were not ready for this the situation is flowing favorably with our pet, which I like because they have a great love for animals.

Mi papá trajo una nueva mascota, se la obsequio un amigo suyo y es un pez beta de color azul, el se lo dió a Alys porque el sabía lo mucho que ella anhelaba tener su propia mascota y venía dentro de una botella de plástico con algunas algas, el paso por una tienda de mascotas y le trajo el alimento ideal para su consumo, es muy poco lo que yo se de peces pues mi mascota favorita son los perros así que soy más conocedora de este tipo de animales, agradezco que no se apareció con un conejo como tantas veces le mencionaba a mi niña de que le traería uno.
Alys se emocionó muchísimo e inmediatamente empezó a buscar un nombre para su pez, mencionaba varios nombres como Send, Tom, entre otros sin estar muy convencida, hasta que se le ocurrió llamarlo Azul por el color tan característico que posee, así que ahora tenemos a Blue nuestra perrita que es en inglés y Azul nuestro pez beta en español, lo cuál me dió mucha risa porque se llaman igual pero en distintos idiomas.
Aún falta encontrar la pecera adecuada, así que agradecería de sus consejos de cuáles son las ideales o recomendadas para este tipo de pez, supongo que junto con Alys iré aprendiendo en el camino de los cuidados necesarios para que este con ella el mayor tiempo posible, disfruta de darle comida y aunque algunas veces quiere sacarlo de su espacio yo le explico siempre de que fuera del agua el no puede sobrevivir y que siempre debe permanecer ahí.
Esperamos que Azul forme parte de nuestra familia por mucho tiempo, por cierto aunque es de Alys su hermanita Abby también se ve comprometida con su alimentación y de observar varias veces como se encuentra el pez en su hogar, aunque sentía que no estaban listas para esto la situación va fluyendo favorablemente con nuestra mascota, lo cuál me gusta porque poseen un gran amor por los animales.
