What keeps you going? Me? This little lady right here! I have to admit it, being a mom isn't easy at all and it is harder if you're a single mom like me. You have to double the love, the effort and everything. That's why when my parents scolds me about spoiling her too much I have to reason out because that's me being extra as a single parent. I know most single parent out there would totally relate to what I just mentioned. Sometimes, when I buy clothes for me I have to make sure she has too. Seeing toys in the mall always reminds me that I should get something for her whenever I go there by myself. When I want to travel with friends, I have to make sure I also have a plan to travel or have a staycation with her. That's how I balance my life being a single mother. And luckily, eventhough we bicker most of the times, she's always this sweet. She either hugs me all of a sudden, kisses me and says "I love you mom" that often. I would say that her sweet kisses and random hugs does keep me going. Nothing more. ☺️ How about you? What keeps you going?
