I was opportuned to attend one of my babies by deliveries naming, on getting there even though I arrived late, I saw how elegantly dressed the mother was looking, many many things began to cross my mind.
My mind glanced back to when she was in labour, she was a mother who had laboured for days without delivery. She was in pain for days and when the gynaecologist first told her she had under go a caesarian section I saw the tension in her eyes.
She went cold and of course I know many taught crossed her mind and she had a lot in her mind. But the first question she asked me when she found her voice, so am going for another caesarian section? I understood she wanted to try the experience of labour, but at this point it wasn't necessary, she had had a c-section before on her first child, so having a prolonged labour wasn't best for her. I just told her its gonna be alright, whether a c-section of SVD, its all a route of delivery.
I went further to let her know it does not mean your week, no, thus how God wants your babies to come to the earth, so relax, everything's gonna be fine.
Fast forward to yesterday, when she saw me, she was elevated, she proudly handed the child to me and was telling people, this is his foster mother. She's his first mom at birth. She was the midwife who took care of him at birth. My joy knew no bound, I was not just happy, I was super excited to see her in good health and bouncing. I took few pics with the baby before leaving.
I was really excited to see her in such joyful mood mothers are really genius.
It's amazing how you encouraged her through such difficult moment and reminded her that every birth journey is special. 😍
Thanks a lot Ma'am.
Thank God everything went well and she was able to have a strong and healthy baby.
Yeah am also greatful ma
The gynecologist made a good decision to perform the C-section. It's better to be safe than sorry. For the health and well-being of both, the C-section was a success, and the baby and mother are doing very well. Thank you for your support 🥰🤗
Awwwn I feel special for this thanks a lot ma
