Hello hive mommies and daddies! 🥰
When Alison gets sick most likely I get sick too so this weekend we were in low spirits, but well that's a topic for another post. The thing is that because of that we took a good bath in the morning to shake off the discomfort and feel more energetic, but then I thought of taking Alison to the park that is only five blocks away from the house.
However, I thought that since she no longer uses a car it would be a good idea for her to use her tricycle, the same one her grandmother gave her two years ago, but she had not yet reached the pedals and the space at home is not big enough to practice. Although she learned recently in our narrow backyard, I felt she needed to ride longer distances for a longer period of time.
So I asked him if he wanted to go to the park with the trike and his answer was a resounding yes, plus he loves anything that involves running, riding rides and lots of fun. That day the sun was at its peak but cool because sometimes the cold overwhelms me, even that helped a lot so that we did not feel so much discomfort and we dedicated ourselves to enjoy.
We arrived at the park almost at 1:00 pm and indeed Alison got on her tricycle and there was no one to get her off afterwards hahaha. Besides exercising she practiced pedaling much faster and that also helped her to get more skill when it came to turning or braking, since we were in an exclusive bike lane there was no problem with it, there were even more kids like her practicing their pedaling.
I could not help but take pictures of the beautiful sky, besides this park is very large and really beautiful to relax and spend some time alone under a tree if that's what you want. It has several soccer fields, exercise machines, green areas, bike and jogging paths. It also has a sandy area for the kids to play on but that day it had a lot of rocks so I didn't like it very much.
After he got tired of using the tricycle he went on his beloved swing for a while while we enjoyed the sunshine. She went on to the slide where she had to climb up a metal ladder by herself and I was really nervous but she has to learn. Even though she fell a couple of times coming down the slide she managed to shake it off and keep playing.
I love these moments because this is where I see her really happy. We returned home after two hours, I changed her clothes, we had lunch and she fell fast asleep, giving me time to have a moment to myself where I watched a movie that had been recommended to me, which in the end was not as good as I expected.
A different Sunday of mother and daughter, great and fun, to see my daughter happy I would repeat it a thousand times.

Cuando Alison se enferma lo más seguro es que yo caiga también así que este fin de semana estuvimos con el ánimo bajito, pero bueno eso es tema de otro post. El caso es que a raíz de eso nos dimos un buen baño en la mañana para sacudir el malestar y sentirnos con más energía, pero en esas se me ocurrió llevar a Alison al parque que nos queda a tan solo a cinco cuadras de la casa.
Eso sí, pensé que como ya no usa coche sería una buena idea que usara su triciclo, el mismo que le regaló su abuelita hace dos años pero aun no llegaba a los pedales y el espacio en casa no es tan grande como para practicar. Aunque aprendió hace poco en lo angosto de nuestro patio, siento que le hacía falta recorrer tramos más grandes durante más tiempo.
Así que le pregunte si quería ir al parque con el triciclo y su respuesta fue un Si rotundo, además de que ama todo lo que implique correr, subirse a las atracciones y mucha diversión. Ese día el sol estaba en su punto pero chévere porque a veces el frío me agobia, incluso eso ayudó mucho a que no sintiéramos tanto el malestar y nos dedicaramos a disfrutar.
Llegamos al parque casi a la 1:00 pm y en efecto Alison subió a su triciclo y no había quien la bajara después jajaja. Además de hacer ejercicio practicó pedaleando mucho más rápido y eso le ayudó también a ir agarrando más habilidad a la hora de girar o frenar, ya que estábamos en un carril exclusivo para bicis no hubo problema con ello, incluso habían más niños como ella practicando sus pedalazos.
No pude evitar fotografiar lo hermoso del cielo, además este parque es muy grande y realmente hermoso para relajarse y pasar un rato solo bajo algún árbol si es lo que quieres. Tiene varias canchas de fútbol, máquinas de ejercicios, áreas verdes, carril para bicis o para correr. Además tiene una zona de arena para que los niños jueguen a sus anchas pero ese día tenía muchas piedras por lo que no me gusto mucho.
Después de que se cansó de usar el triciclo subió a su amado columpio un buen rato mientras gozamos de un sol radiante. Siguió con el tobogán donde práctico subir sola por una escalera de metal y yo estaba realmente nerviosa pero bueno tiene que aprender. Aunque se cayó un par de veces al bajar del tobogán logró sacudirse el polvo y seguir jugando.
Me encantan estos momentos porque es donde la veo realmente feliz. Volvimos a casa después de dos horas, le cambié la ropita, almorzamos y se quedó profundamente dormida, dando tiempo a que tuviese un momento para mí donde mire una película que me habían recomendado, la que al final no fue tan buena como esperaba.
Un domingo diferente de madre e hija, genial y divertido, por ver feliz a mi hija lo repetiría una y mil veces.

Dios bendiga tu hija linda. Un triciclo ha sido una opción segura y divertida para ambos. Tiene mucha energía, ellos son así, disfrutan mucho del parque. Estos momentos son pequeños instantes y hay que aprovecharlos.

Me alegra que se hayan dado un espacio para salir de la rutina y disfrutar del sol, a nosotros también nos ha molestado un poco tanto frío y salir ayuda bastante a aliviar el malestar, espero que estén mucho mejor de salud amiga, por supuesto las fotos están hermosas pero no más hermosa que Alison en su triciclo feliz 😍
