Mushroom Brackets That Grow in The Dry Season

These photos were taken by me in a local forest in the Lhokseumawe area, yesterday afternoon.

They are the species of fungus Trametes hirsuta or commonly known as hairy bracket, belonging to the Polyporaceae family. They grow on the dead woody branches of deciduous trees.

Some of them looked mossy, while some of them were bright white. They are fungi that tend to survive long periods of exposure to the sun's heat.
