My post today is about #FungiFriday and although today is not the 13th, some of the photos will look pretty dark. The thing is that this time I focused not so much on mushrooms and their properties, but on the processing of their images.
I understand that in this case it would be correct to show one image at a time and give it some kind of funny or gloomy text. But I cannot afford that luxury and it is not very accepted on the platform.
I won't say anything about the first photo, you can come up with a story to your liking. On the second ... there is no particular story, but the background of yellow pine needles made this small and delicate mushroom almost invisible. And then I discolored it ... but left a textured autumn leaf. This is so that you do not think about the summer.
Here is the same mushroom as above, but in a different angle and different processing. I had to add blue to somehow liven up the frame.
It plays with color intensity and white balance. I don't know how justified such a combination is, but I wanted to try and present it to your judgment.
Here everything is simple, practically without processing, a small correction and that's it.
Here separate toning came into play. Let's remember about black black Friday and bring a little darkness and mystery.
By the way, I didn't stick this pine needle into the poor mushroom's cap. He grew up this way himself and it remains a mystery to me how he did it. The needle is not stuck, the mushroom has grown through it.
Well, and a very dark rivalry. I would definitely place this photo separately from the others. There is some kind of dramatic story here.

I also like to make use of vignetting feature. But that's the main one I use.

I really like how you played with the 2nd and 3rd picture - it looks like completely different time, mushroom and all. The angle and the light really make huge difference. And the one that has the pine needles is also a good one.
