Not that I am aware of. The reason that I choose to cut them rather than pick them is so that I can minimize the amount of dirt that ends up in my bag with the mushroom once they are picked. As they jostle around in the bag, the dirt tends to come loose and get all over the mushrooms, which makes the cleaning process take much more time once I get home.
