Lichens

in Fungi Lovers3 years ago (edited)

This time I was lucky to see this lichen.
Others can see it quite often, but with our very hot climate we need to work hard to find it.

Since in dry and hot climates, the lichen dries up.
But it does not die off and will come to life again as soon as it is wet.

Large groups of lichen can erode the surface on which they grow.

Some lichen species emit toxic substances into the atmosphere.

Lichens that grow on the trunks of trees and bushes protect the wood from destruction by fungi.

The photos I were taken with a Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L tablet

No, you don't have to do anything. It is just a confirmation that it was voted.

Very interesting and bright colour!
