Hola, setero! Today I share some mushroom impressions from summer 2020.

Puffballs and a snail made a perfect pair -- she treated it like a massage facility.

The first fly agaric I encountered last year! We found it in our own yard. Then a lot more grew on this same place, I could harvest a full bucket.

One of the very first Ugli milkcap mushrooms (Lactárius nécator) I found in a tall fern. This photo turned out to be a bit overexposed - but this is even better.

Most likely, this is some kind of rowing (Tricholoma sp.). I have not yet learned how to identify them well, there are different species, 5-10 of them can be found in our northern land. Now I know that they exist, and when I saw this family in the summer, I thought: what a strange, suspicious russula! I'd rather not touch her. Therefore, I do not even know how it smells ... but this can also be an important point in identifying the mushroom.

This is how this mushroom looks from below. I would be glad for your tips on ID //

My Sigma 150mm lens is capable of creating a convincing bokeh, of course that happens not every time, but sometimes, under appropriate light conditions, it can appear.

Porcini mushroom (Boletus edulis). This family grew up right in the strawberry beds! Not a single birch was nearby ...

A small cute Saffron Milkcap (other names: Red Pine Mushroom, Agaricus deliciosus) grew in a clearing where a few years ago I heaped cut spruce branches into a heap - a thick, soft layer of needles formed there (spruce needles make the soil acidic, and plants are in no hurry to grow on it). I did not collect it, but came to take pictures several times - and I waited for the rest of the family to appear. Alas! For the whole summer, only one mushroom has grown in this place.

Suede bolete (Xerócomus subtomentósus) - has a list of other fancy names: brown and yellow bolet, boring brown bolete or yellow-cracked bolete. His huge yellow-brown hat of a warm honey color made me very happy in the forest - it was visible from a distance of 5 meters, and attracted like a young Werther's costume! And this mushroom also grew more than one - nearby, at a distance of 6-15 meters, I found a dozen more. For some reason, none of them was kissed by worms! It was a very enjoyable mushroom clash in the summer.

Oh, I know that this is a mushroom post @qwerrie , but the snail from the beginning is so cute 😌

UFO-s! (unidentified mushroom object).

🤣 ...but isn't it UMO then ? :D

oops, you have a keen eye! ofc its UFO = unidentified fungi object, now thats correct! I made a small typo there..

yes, ofc the snail is... snails always cute, and very touchy. believe me or not -- I spent like 40 mins with that snail, puffball fungus, and camera :P

Hahaha, you made this time @qwerrie 🙌😁

It was worthy waiting then 💚🐌

Some weeks ago I met some snails, and I was lucky as it was raining before and they smelled some cat food, they were out, having their lunch without being any shy ☺️

But some other dru day, there is no way a snail wants to come out 🙄😓

It was worthy waiting then 💚🐌

oh, dont get me wrong, I did not wait, no. I mean, I spent all this time watching, observing her activity, and taking pics. I refer to it myself as a Snail Shepherd :P

uh, let me treat you with some !BEER and !ENGAGE 20? my fridge is never empty now.

I spent all this time watching, observing her activity, and taking pics.

Oh, I thought you had to wait for the snail to come out 🤣 Your time spent observing and taking photos is of course a greatly spent time!

It seems that I already had that beer 🍺 hence my misunderstood conclusion ;D, cheers 🍻 and thanks :))

☀️☀️☀️☀️ Thank You! ☀️☀️☀️☀️

You're welcome ☀️☀️☀️

Awesome collection ^^ .. Really, 50 GB of funghi pictures already 😂 .. How big is your overall photo collection? .. Already more than a TB?

Adalger, I have several very different collections -

my own fotos; photos and scans of radiohead stuff; photos of various cliparts and commercial collections (i.e. photobanks, art, museums, etc); and historical photos I grab whenever I see something cool... yes, I am obsessed with this, always was. so I really cant feed your curiocity - it is near to impossible task, to answer this question. probably it more than 1Tb.

as recently (last 2 years) I started to shoot in .raw format, instead of .jpg, and swapped to a full-frame camera - the file size upgraded from 2-3 Mb to 11-13 Mb per file. Which is sufficient...
