I came across this unusual mushroom in September last year, since then this photo shoot has been sitting on my hard drive without moving ... maturing. And finally it matured! I previously posted one photo from this set, but now I've processed the whole set and I can offer you a better picture: a focus stake stitched together from 9 separate photos, with the appropriate depth of field. Clickable! Yes, but what is so unusual about it, you ask? think dew! And this is not dew at all: a weeping mushroom can be found even in the heat. It's just that the fungus gets rid of excess moisture in its body, these are the results of chemical reactions occurring inside. Like this! knowledge is power.

This beautiful edible mushroom is called Xerócomus subtomentósus. I have already presented photos showing this mushroom in the past, I can’t say anything new about it, it is still labelled with the same name, it has not changed over passed time. I like this mushroom particularly because I rarely find it visited by worms (it seems that worms don’t like it for some reason!) and for its luxurious amber-colored hat - on a green mossy carpet, such hats are visible from five meters away, and to find this the mushroom is pure pleasure. This certain photo processed from a single frame.

Мне нравится этот гриб за то, что я редко нахожу его съеденным червяками (кажется, червяки его по каким-то причинам не любят!) и за его роскошную шапку цвета янтаря - на зеленом мшистом ковре такие шляпки видны за пять метров, и находить этот гриб - чистое удовольствие.
I also met this mushroom in September last year. It has the wonderful name "tiger's eye", although its scientific name is of course not so attractive - Coltricia perennis. A very beautiful mushroom, but very small, it is not always easy to notice it against the background of fallen foliage... You can read more about it here.

Chanterelles! An excellent mushroom that is known and loved by so many - it even has a place of honor in French cooking. And I can’t help but notice that this mushroom is also sharply visited by worms and does not suffer from them, and also keeps well due to its hard texture. But looking for them, especially in the moss... is difficult! This certain family I found back in September 2021 in Karelian pine forest.

Most likely, this sole photo would not be enough to accurately identify this mushroom - but I know how the bottom of its cap, studded with thorns, and the stem looked like! and this was a key factor for identification. Name: Phellodon connatus. But it is not 100% confirmed, I might be wrong about it.

The second photo looks cool, there are water drops. I've never found those mushrooms, maybe they're not in our area.
hey, thanks for the visit. glad you like the visuals. the cool thing about that certain photo - these water drops appeared not from the rain, but inside of the mushroom. if you are curios, you may google it by keyword 'guttation' - this is the name of the process, fungi getting rid of moisture excess

Как всегда, прекрасная подборка грибов. Отличные фото - и блин, однажды я тоже возьмусь и научусь склеивать макрофото, по крайней мере, я на это надеюсь))
там учиться - нечему! до смешного просто, готов обучить в 2х строчках фотошопа прямо не отходя от кассы
до сих пор - не рокет сайнс, но первое самое сложное...
Есть варианты, но базовый функционал, насколько я знаю, такой-простой.
Да, главное - захотеть и собраться. И нормально снять серию) Спасибо! Если в ближайшем будущем таки дойдут руки попробовать - поделюсь результатом)
я обычно не собираюсь что-то, а снимаю серию с шагом тогда, когда вижу что объект больше фокуса, и в одном кадре не получается показать существенную его часть резко - тогда и снимаю больше кадров, в расчете склеить и показать что-то получше. это в общем-то самоочевидно. (ну и я не использую штатив, чего мне собираться, все всегда при мне. попробуйте как-нибудь, просто чтобы понять, что технически это не замысловато.
