Now that fungi season is over here I have to dig into my photos from this past year for #fungifriday by @ewkaw

Here is a baby amanita muscaria guessowii. The sun hit it at just the right angle to highlight the sugar crystals that make you high lol.

Here are some orange mycena along with some blue cup fungi. Look at the itty bitty blue cup.

Look at this mess, it appears to be some kind of slime mold eating an older mushroom.

Some standard pear shaped puffballs, tasty little guys.

I have no idea what these weirdos are. They almost look like flower bouquets.

I'm not sure about the ids on these mushrooms, not quite ink caps, not quite mycena.

Now for a cool bolete, I can't remember the name but it is an edible species.

Here's an update on my reishi, this guy sprouted some ears.

So far no big conchs are forming. I may need to give them some fresh outside air.

Happy #fungifriday

I wish I could find a fairy ring of muscaria. So far I've only found some kind of sorority mushroom growing in a fairy ring.

Hi There!
Since it was a hobby of mine, so to speak in Germany...
I learned a trick...
Go out on Full Moon,
Where the Moon Light Shines,
You'll find the ring!
(*of course under Evergreens)
Have an Awesome Weekend!

The ring will probably be there in a different dimension crossing over right?

That depends on if You are them first...
He he he! 😉
They just follow the root pattern,
and like Moonlight...

😊
Awesome and fantastic collection of mushrooms !!!! 🤗Amazing.

I did quick search on the weirdos 😁 photo 5. I found some that look kinda like it.
My search came up with
Royoporus badius - or Picipes badius. commonly known as the black-footed polypore
:D

Badius sounds familiar they definitely had their pores were tiny and smooth.

And here it didn't even start yet! :p

Lucky, if I was rich I would move around the globe to where the mushroom seasons were happening.

Not so lucky... we don't have those cool forests north part of the globe has. With all the shrooms and autumn colours.

beautiful and cool mushrooms ... incredible

Now I have to wait until march for new ones.

What a collection. Once upon a time, I lived in Buena Vista, Colorado, host to the King Boletus Mushroom Festival. Not sure if it still exists, but there is a particular aspen grove there host to several different species each year.

The king boletes are one of the rare ones that grow where I live. I have only found one in about 5 years. I would love to go to a King Bolete Festival :-)

Looks like the festival lives on despite the rona'.

If they find some chaga and reishi that could help cure the rona.
