Progress Over Perfection: The Improve In Our Imperfect Self

in Self Improvementlast year

It’s a fact, life is not perfect. There will be moments when you do not feel like your life is moving in the right direction and you will not always feel like you are achieving your goals.

It’s important to remember that the process of life is always a learning process and those moments of feeling like you are not where you want to be are just part of the journey and by taking in the imperfections, we can learn from them and keep pushing forward.

Many people are striving for perfection in all aspects of their lives. They are constantly looking for ways to make themselves more perfect, but in reality, this is not possible.

One of the biggest things that people struggle with is being able to accept and love their imperfect self. It's easy to want everyone around you to be perfect and to judge your own self-worth based on your own imperfections.

However, striving to be perfect is not the key to success. The key to success is to accept your imperfections and to work hard to improve them. If you try hard enough, you will be able to achieve your goals.

It's important to remember that perfection does not exist, so it's pointless to put too much pressure on yourself to achieve perfection. It's better to focus on the process and the progress you are making.

People often think that they should be perfect to be successful. But this is not the case. It is important to remember that success comes from the journey and not the destination. We should learn from our mistakes.

If we feel embarrassed about our mistakes, we should learn from them and not let it affect our future. We should not let our mistakes stop us from learning and growing. We should be conscious of our mistakes and use them as a learning opportunity.

As a person, you will never be perfect. In fact, you will never be able to achieve perfection. It just means that you should embrace your imperfect self and start working towards your goals. You should have the goal of making progress, not perfection.

You should always strive to improve, but you shouldn’t expect to be perfect. It’s a good thing to let your mistakes go and move on to the next step. It’s better to take your imperfect self and make it into a better you.

the journey and not the destination.

I key into what you said here. Those who are successful today became successful by working on themselves. They passed through a process of grooming themselves and not waiting for the perfect time, having the perfect tools, or being the perfect person. They worked with what they had to what they wanted to achieve. That is what made them successful.

Successful people dont relent to achieve success which is why they strive hard to utilize any opportunity given to be better.

However, striving to be perfect is not the key to success. The key to success is to accept your imperfections and to work hard to improve them. If you try hard enough, you will be able to achieve your goals.

You see these statements, they made my day Emeka...

It's all about accepting our imperfect self, and working on improvement which is the key.

We aren't perfect, we tend to make mistakes but not remaining on that spot is the sure you to succeed

People often think that they should be perfect to be successful. But this is not the case.

I like the saying, "perfection is the enemy of progress." You described that very well, take care.
