To be fair, I didn't realize how my actions really helped back then either. That's something I only discovered later. You'd feel way more accomplished after a day where you got a lot done versus one where you didn't do what you said you were going to (at least, I know I do).
It's kinda like stacking that feeling over time by moving towards the person you want to become.
