Hello Hiveians! Today I would like to introduce you to a new language that was just created a couple days ago called "Portumal"! :D
I created this languge a few days ago when one of my parents friends came over to visit. When he left, I started working on this. Making my own language was on my bucket list for quite a while, when I had time, I did it.
I know the first question you will be asking now is how do you speak it? What does the alphabet look like? Well, you speak the language exactly the same as English so I guess I was just paying attention to the letters and how to write it.
Here is a photo of the Portumal letters, and under the letters I put the English letters under them. At the bottom, I put the sounds, like (th, sh, ch, oo, ee) and so on. On the very bottom I put two extra letters I already did, I put them there just in case I need any extra letter when I write in Portumal.
In the next photo I wrote Sentences in English and under them I put the same sentence, but in Portumal. If you look back to the photo of the alphabet above, you can check my spelling hehe.
All I really did with creating the letters was just making little scribbles on the paper to make it look unique haha.
Every language has its own country, so I drew how I would like the country for Portumal to look. The name of the country is Portal. Under the drawing of the country, I wrote a short script of what the country is known for.
