Day 10 of 90 Day - Wake Up Early - Lifestyle Creation Challenge with Josie

Well, yup, this is me really starting to feel the struggle. The first week felt like a breeze in comparison. And yet here I am, not being confident at all in my abilities to see this through.

And with the kind of plans that we have with my bunch of friends for the weekend, this going to be a tough stretch. Way out of the normal and comfortable. It's always those out of the ordinary things that throw me for a loop whenever building a new habit.

I guess that the best I can do is to accept that this is by no means going to be easy on me, at least not the end of this and the beginning of the week 3, but if I manage to get through that the end of week three should already feel way more reasonable and effortless.

Just got to remember to lean into the uncomfortableness of the whole situation as a part of the building and solidifying this into a lifestyle.

That uncomfortable feeling in fact is a good indicator, that progress is happening, as you are stretching out of your normal routines and neural pathways.

There's also still a bit more room for allowing myself some more sleep by going to bed earlier, so I could give myself a treat, a reward in that form.

The the whole thing would have been easier too if it was still summer and it wasn't starting to get darker and colder. But waking up early in summer is no challenge and builds no character. The light itself does all the job for you.

But, hey - 10 days down, just 80 more to go. xD
