RE: Writing and Rewarding

Yeah I'll admit, and even when things appear simple, there's often quite a few monkeys crunching numbers inside this noggin of mine, coming up with solutions to problems. The biggest challenge I setup for myself, so far, was that cabinet tutorial I wrote. Wanted to find a way to achieve an improvised comedy performance, in writing. That consisted of pulling five random nonsensical prompts out of my ass, placing each one in Google, then attempting to make something funny out of the results, all while making damn sure the reader wouldn't get bored and skip or skim since so many jokes depended on previous lines. The first, second, and third runs weren't even cabinet tutorials. That part came last and saved the entire project from being junk. It's one of a kind; nothing like that exists anywhere else in literature, as far as I know.

Boom is fucking hilarious. Natural talent. One of a kind as well. Impossible to emulate that style. You'll notice him and I never do serious tutorials on how to be us. Fuck that if I'm giving my secrets away LOL!

And, isn't this in itself an achievement? If someone else does something similar - you even have timestamped evidence :)

I am hoping that at some point in the nearish future, Boomy and I can get together for a meetup somewhere. Would be great fun for a beer :)

I'll come too. Soon enough or whenever it comes time to actually spend some of this fun money, we'll make our own Fest. That way I can't get kicked out.
