I AM FINALLY GIVING UP ON HIVE!

in Self Improvement2 years ago

You see sometimes we can be distracted by so many happenings around us and we are been tempted to look beside. Probably because a colleague or friend of ours is doing well in a particular field, whereas we are not.

For instance, someone you both joined Hive on the same day or month is "doing well," that's to say earning more than you do and you are not. This could even be someone you introduce to the blockchain or someone you even thought wouldn't even know what he or she is going to do. All these and even more can be reasons some people who have good intentions of taking hive seriously before suddenly giving up or quitting.

People give up for several reasons, which may include;

  • Pride:

This is one greatest things that can cause several people to give up, it could be the pride to learn from those who know better than them, but instead, they are envying and become jealous of their success. Not everyone may know it all, there is always someone that knows better or more than you do. That is why it's very important to humble yourself and learn from whatever they're doing that is making them successful in that area or field. It cost nothing to be humble, but it will cost so much to let pride pave the way.

Taking the Hive platform, for instance, some have been on the blockchain before you came, or that must have explored it so deep more than you do, and have been able to discover what is necessary, needed, recommended, what is supposed to be done, how it is done, the best way to do it and even more. This set of people is the perfect people you can learn from, even if he or she is the person you introduce to the blockchain, ask them questions, relate with them, and be open-minded to learn from them. I want to believe they also love to get connected and always want to interact with you because they too want to also grow. So no one should be selfish here. Humility will give you what pride cannot, and even what pride must have stolen from you. From hence, make up your mind to be humble and learn from those who know better than you, those that are earning more than you do. Always feel free to ask them questions politely. It is said that,

A man who asks questions never missed his way.

Always learn to ask the right questions, and I believe you will have the right answer if the right questions are being asked.

  • The fear of failure:

Questions like, what if I don't succeed in this area? what if am doing the wrong thing? What if I am wasting my time? Is Hive really for me?

The big questions you should be asking are WHAT IF IT WORKS? WHAT IF THIS IS THE ANSWER TO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO?

Questions like this have held a lot of people captive. It has deprived them of what they are supposed to have discovered about who they are, and what they are capable of doing. There is so much in every one of us that we are yet to discover, if only we will give away our fears and start trying what we are afraid of.

In life, anything that will produce a successful outcome is worth risking. If you don't make it out, a lesson would be learned, and if you make it out, you will be happy that you did. I have never seen a man who gave up along the line succeeding. Every great man always takes one risk or another.

In Conclusions:

To be successful on hive is a choice, and to fail is also another choice. You have to choose which one you want, and take the important and necessary steps in your journey.

I wish us a blissful Sunday and a wonderful new week. Happy Sunday Dearly Beloved Friends on Hive ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕
