The vanity sizing suits me fine, I usually try to get stuff from the kids section and they've gone up to size 18 so now I can have cheap AND super baggy clothes.
It definitely seems like a highly flawed design when our body is made to degrade its own performance by choice
Apparently human evolution is incredibly slow or technology accelerated faster than humans could adapt as it seems that they still haven't cottoned on that a lot of us get little to no exercise and have food constantly available and are still acting like any second now there will be a predator to run away from or prey to chase and tomorrow there will be nothing to to eat for a week.
embarrassed to have such old parents
Doesn't seem to matter even if you have them "young enough to enjoy them" XD J and I both wanted kids so decided to have them in our 20s (didn't quite go according to plan so ended up happening in early 20s rather than mid) and they still think we're old XD
I do remember once thinking my mother was SO OLD when she was 38, she was not impressed XD
And we happy to have it that way, rather than facing the truth.
I donno, there have been many pushes for "authenticity" (or one big ongoing one I'm not sure what the deal is because I don't care enough x_x) and a lot of people have no idea how to do it but the ones that have people stick around seem to be the ones that are "authentic", everyone else might have high follow counts but their audiences are extremely transient.
But I guess it depends on whether one cares more about volume or depth right :)
This raises other questions about society! :D
My wife buys kids clothes most of the time too - but for a dress for a wedding (and shoes) they just don't make anything suitable here.
This back - my parents were in great shape for their age - puts me to shame!
Some people complain on Hive because there isn't enough random activity - but that isn't the way web3 is going to be set up I believe - at least not totally. What people will start looking for is some stability in the content they consume.
