There’s definitely room for both of those perspectives but for me, having more skills is better!
Yes, I agree. One of the things to consider though is how job roles have changed over the last decades, as now we each have to do "more for ourselves" if you consider that not that long ago, a manager would have a secretary and a clerk kind of thing.
