RE: Writing and Rewarding

in Self Improvement3 years ago

to test out the waters through different forms of writing every now and then.

It makes it more interesting for you, and for us :)

Real life battles get in the way for sure, so I have used those days as my "personal days" more as a way to cope or perhaps at times, get distance from the real world for a couple hours. It always helps though, as it clears my head and gives me more potential to deal with whatever is going on.

It's all about growth I'd say, if you have that growth mindset, a long-term plan, then no matter the pace, you'll get somewhere;

Looking back, years have gone fast - looking forward, it seems like it is all going to take too long.

That's the only way to keep it all interesting and consistent, or it all just gets a bit too repetitive for everyone, and I can bet no one likes that.

I see it and approach it the same way, but sometimes it can get overwhelming, thanks to all the "mental juggling". In the end I can't even figure out what to write about, the mind just becomes too foggy; it's either way too many details getting clogged up or absolutely nothing in there.

Crazy right? I posted my introduction back on 3rd November 2021, feels like yesterday haha. And looking forward, I say we'll never "get here", that perfect idea or image we have of ourselves, a goal of some sorts; things will never be a 100/100, never be "perfect". But I'm okay with that I'd say, as long as there's progress, slow or fast, "proper" progress is a good indicator that we're doing something right.

Repetition is even okay, if it is being built upon. I like Hive content for this, as it is like writing an endless book - it is always changing :)

I know those periods of foggy brain too. If someone were to read all my posts, they will see them here also - I see it as an exploration of my potential under different conditions. Not everything is gold :)

Ah! Your one year anniversary is coming up! :)

There are such moments and posts, more like a streak, but the reader would have to find the link in these random posts, posted in different times, it's quite a task I'd say haha. I'm planning on creating some sort of a series, but I still can't figure out how to start and what it would be based upon, got quite a few options.

Not everything is gold

It surely isn't; sometimes a bit of silver, sometimes bronze, and that's what makes us human I'd say.

Yep, some parts of the journey didn't go as expected, but many parts of it surely was "unexpectedly amazing" haha, got absolutely no complaints.

A year completed, way more to go. Cheers to that. 🥃

Ah, but this is the importance of building a following. A real following means that people are reading consistently, which makes the conversation flow like a group of friends. You will notice at times people in the comments section here talking about discussions from the past, and some of those took place several years ago :)

The humanness of quality is important and that is also a "drawback". However, considering that ongoing conversation with friends, it means being able to not be our best and people still understand the variation.

A year completed, way more to go.

In January it will be six for me - and I remember "most of it" like it was all yesterday. Luckily, the blockchain remembers it all ;)

This does happen every now and then, thanks to an amazing bunch of people who I've gotten to know, and some that I have met in real life because of Hive.

I had no doubts when it came to building a good following, I've maintained this trend on many platforms. But I surely wasn't expecting to make some really solid connections this fast, that surely was a surprise, so I guess I'm doing something right.

Luckily, we have that understanding between me, my friends and followers, here on Hive.

Damn, I still remember seeing your post about completing 5 whole years, and it surely does feel like yesterday. 😂
