#1 Start With Small Stepping Stones

You want to create tiny little stepping stones to achieve your goals. The stepping stones to your goals should be very defined and make it easy to proceed to the next step. Want to write? Grab a seat, grab a pen and paper, prepare yourself, and write. These are stepping stones. Start with just one thing you want to build into a habit, then work to make the stepping stones to get it done daily. Try this for a week, then add another task.

#2 Create Lists

If you need to do multiple things in your day, you can use a to-do list to ensure you finish them. Start your morning with three things you want to achieve in the day, write them down, and complete them. Put a little checkbox next to each task you write down, and then when you complete them, check them off; this will give you a sense of joy with every new check because you know things are going in the right direction.

#3 Get Into A Routine

Humans tend to do something for a week, get inspired, and then stop doing it, and this is a surefire way to destroy all of your progress and motivation. Building a routine is just repeating the same action until it becomes installed into your mind and is just a natural occurrence. Routines help our brain conserve energy and minimize risks because we are already good at what we've been doing for weeks, so it takes less power to do these things. It resembles starting a new job and then, in a month, just walking through your workday without even noticing you worked.
